Great symbolic use of the clocks, time gone by, with only one wish, for now.

Reagan by jenn33199

Great textures mixed together, of paper, nature and metals. Beautifully layered elements and that photo is adorable!

rage and anger by caits

This page is such an eye-catcher, the pop of pink on the white, the repetition of the journaling, it all brings the message across in a very strong way.

Finger Pointing (July 29)

29 Jul

Morning everyone, Krista here!  What a gorgeous day it is…why does seem like sunshine contributes to feeling happy??  Because I FEEL happy today.  I have my iced coffee and just lazily strolling through the galleries… and stopping to shop once I find some neat goodies (hazards of the job).  <grin>  Check out what I found today:

This page emulates how I feel today… like a bright sunshiny blue sky.  The blue elements make these photos pop even more.  I find myself just gazing and cloud watching.  ;)

Summer Fun by mabelm

What a clever idea.  I LOVE the repeated photo and frame work.  It truly makes this page a piece of artwork.

Golden Boy by hollieh

I LOVE the clean lines and simplicity.  The blue of the photos just jump off of the gray background.  It is so captivating.

Today Captured by NicoleLeBlanc

i can do this by laura grimes

The small and delicate features make this shine.  I can almost see the smile and feel the wind as she swings.  Wonderful job capturing that emotion.

Summer Afternoons by teeleedee

What a fun and breezy page.  I LOVE the whimsical circle doodles, and colors and patterns.

Still going with your 365??  Great job!  This is the neatest way to document the week.  I LOVE the photos scattered throughout the page, and the colored journaling for each day is brilliant!

Finger Pointing (July 28)

28 Jul

Wow…this is my last post of July.  Hard to believe!  My kids actually have back to school activities starting next week.  Summer went too fast!  Here are my Wednesday picks:

zuzanar’s my scientist  Such a great boy page!  Love the masculine textures and those gears are an excellent extension of the photo.  The blending in the background is perfect.

Therese’s Look inside yourself  Loving the magazine article feel of this layout.  The photo blend and smaller photos leave lots of room for journaling.  Great title work too.

me momteiro’s Yum  Great coloring on this photo.  Loving the paint splatters peeking out behind the main grouping.

Jule’s The king  Great use of scale and monochromatic color scheme.  I’m loving the crop of the photo and the typography.

jencushing’s sew1  Great vintage feel to this photo.  The composition rocks with a perfect visual triangle of heart clusters.

jasy1983’s Playing outside This makes me happy.  The large expanse of green background mimics a lawn of green grass.  The blocks of pattern paper mimic a baby blanket.  Great page.

ChrissyW’s jump  Wow…loving this page!  You can really sense the height of each jump.  Excellent use of elements that add to the page without distracting from the photos.

alb52’s For Today  Love the colors and composition here.  The journal strips really draw the eye across the page.

1girl1boy’s summer nights  I love the angle which this photo was taken.  The colors and elements are perfect to convey those dusky summer evenings when the stars start to come out.
