Finger Pointing (December 21)

21 Dec

Happy Tuesday everyone! Just a few more sleeps before Christmas – anyone else getting excited? (Or perhaps a bit stressed out now that it’s getting down to the wire??) This will be my last post here at Gallery Standouts for a little while as after tomorrow’s post, the Gallery Standouts team will be taking a nice holiday break. But have no fear, we will be returning in January better than ever, ready to showcase lots of amazing digi eyecandy!

Speaking of eyecandy here are today’s Gallery Standouts…

Airport Layover by HeyJude

I loved the close up shots of the front photos and the larger photos blended into the background really giving us the “whole story” — that title work is delightful too!

Carnival Night by hekas

This is incredible! I loved all the hints at the end of the year and that owl “bringing in 2011”. Just totally stunning!

Christmas Market by Scrappie Irene

And now another style of vintage Christmas page! The photos blend so well with the illustrations and the aged the book is perfect for all that journalling.

You – Queen by Scrappy Smile

Just look at all this! This is such a well constructed page, there’s so much to look at and it has so much character. Wonderful work.

Believe we can change the world and we will by valeriapiemonte

The elements here are so well chosen to help illustrate the story, which is beautifully journalled. Lovely mixture of blended and non-blended photos too.
