Finger Pointing April 7th

7 Apr

Hi there! Jeanine here from a cold and freezing Holland. Nothing to drag me outside so a perfect evening to stroll through the galleries tonight! And did I find some yummies for you!
Here’s the first one

The teen commandments by EllenT

I love all the buttons, beads, other elements and pieces of paper with all the different patterns sprinkled all over the layout. It’s vibrant and lively and a pleasure to look at! I also love how Ellen used the brushes. Beautiful!

Story by AmberR

What a piece of art! Just look at all the layers of brushwork, and the sparkling yellows and reds in this LO;  it’s gorgeous! The whole LO breaths the joy and warmth of giving a beautiful present.

This one just called me, hey take a closer look and I did! The yellow background makes me feel warm inside and the placement of the pictures and elements is so swinging, I want to dance. It’s such an artsy and cheerful LO with the happy colors on the right side, the little tag in the middle and the messy stitches all over the place; I just love it!

Awesome by Ana-Paula

I LOVE this one! The smile of the kid is adorable, but the whole LO is breathing a happy life with all the colored elements on the white background. I also love the artistic feel of the LO, this is sure one of my favorites!.

Big Apple by Sue Falstaff

The joy and excitement of the upcoming trip to New York are perfectly shown in this C&S LO I think.  It’s coming, it’s coming it seems to be calling…whoaaa, NY here we come! The brushes and the lettering add to the urban feel. I love the bright colorsplats and the scratches behind the picture.

I wish you all a happy Easter, have joy and fun with your loved ones!

Lovely pieces you’ve shared with us. Caught my eye that you were posting from Holland. Lived there as a child. My dad was in the Air Force. I think the name of the town was Woudenburg, near Camp New Amsterdam. I remember field trips through the school to Amsterdam and all the museums. Thanks for awaking the memories.

    You’re welcome ladies!

@ love to crochet, that must have been Woudenberg, near Utrecht and Amersfoort where you lived as a child. I’m glad your memories awakened :D.
