This is Beth, aka kewl_jive, bringing you today’s gallery standouts. It’s been a busy week for us since my daughter started her school and I haven’t scrapped it yet. It was a bit of a challenge to prepare her bento boxes (lunch/snack boxes) as my daughter is really picky when it comes to food. I am glad though that she is slowly enjoying the veggies and fruits that I put in her bento boxes. Anyways, hope you guys are enjoying the weather, wherever you are. I’m so glad we were able to enjoy Sakura because we had rainy and windy days lately. I don’t want to bore you, so here are my top six.
The sweetest by July-c
Sweetest indeed! When I first saw this page in the gallery, I immediately fell in love. The photo treatment is just superb, not to mention the beautiful little girl. I love how she used the kit and how she chose the elements to compliment the sweet photo. You did justice on the kit! Great work on the shadows too.
Escape by ViVre
I wish she would hang this in her room. I totally LOVE this, did I just say love? I adore this. It’s a piece of art! The blending is fantastic and the way she documented how she felt is beyond words. I can totally relate with her. My health isn’t perfect and I need to work out and balance a lot of things to improve my health. Sometimes, I feel the urge to escape. Great work on this and good luck!
Happy by wombat146
Happy is the perfect title for this page. Her smile is contagious. The B&W photo really shines on the beautiful background that she used. I love her composition and the wonderful arrangement.

Another beauty! Love how she arranged all the photos and the brushes she used are beautiful! So delicate. Love what she did with the photos including the blending. The lace adds another beauty to this perfect page! Love it!

Beautiful pictures and cropping! I love the monochromatic feel of the page. Love the little touches here and there and the vivid color of her dress acts as the anchor of the whole design. Fabulous!
No. 7: I Am a Book by kygirl
WOW! 32 years of marriage, that is awesome! I have been married for 11 years and I ditto what her husband has said. This is amazing! I love the “half written” thing she said. I guess most of us have unwritten notes. Love the whimsy feel and how she highlighted the eyes.
As always, thanks for taking a peek at the pages I’ve chosen. If you have time, it would be wonderful to stop by and give them some well deserved pats on the back in the galleries.
Have a nice day/night!
