Hello, everyone! Katherine here with today’s round of Standouts! I hope you are inspired by my choices!
Starting us off tonight is this lovely layout by amandac titled Happy Laugh Enjoy. Really love the overall composition here. The muted tones in the blues, greens, and oranges really works well to give off an exceptionally delicate feel. Really makes for a tremendously lovely layout!
With everyone returning to school this month I just couldn’t resist EllenT’s adorable Bus Stop! Such a fabulous design with all the layering and clustering. Her use of paint in the background really causes the image and embellishments to jump off the page. And those green little sneakers . . . so stinking CUTE!
Up next is this fabulous Project Life layout titled PL Week 33 by mrphoto. The color palette here is just delightful with its muted tone! And her mix of photos and journaling is just brilliant! I particularly like the image in the bottom right hand corner! So stinking funny she was able to capture that!
I REALLY like the bold use of color in this next Standout by rubiapadilha titled Live And Laugh. It contrasts so well against the black and white print background! And I really REALLY love the journaling . . . “when things are bad . . . wear your best smile.” Such a wonderful reminder! =]
I’m sure that a good lot of us can connect with the “chaos” and “crazy” conveyed in this next Standout by sarahbhb titled Real Life. LOVE the message . . . “things are always chaotic and crazy but right now there is hope shining through.” yep. that.
Rounding out my choices this evening is this beauty titled Light by Tinkelbel. Just a really STUNNING layout. So dark and dramatic! LOVE all the masking and blending! And again, I LOVE the message here . . . “Happiness can be found. Even in the darkest of times. If only one remembers to turn on the light.”
Well, that’s it for me tonight! See you all in the galleries next week! Have a blessed weekend!
