Finger Pointing – July 11

Hello everyone! Are you all enjoying a nice summer? Here in Brittany, France, the temperatures are very chilly and I think we deserve a little more degrees to say that we are in summer 🙁 Did our American friends enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations? We are heading to our own National holiday here, on the 14th. There are some fireworks planned in my town on Sunday night and I want to try to go and take shots. I need to bring my tripod but I think it’s worth the trouble. If you have any good tips, I’m all ears! Anyway. Enough rambling and on to some gorgeous pages!! Enjoy!

Good For The Soul by THEMrsPeel – This is the first page I stumbled upon and that caught my eyes today in my gallery browsing. First the beautiful colors, the angle of the papers and photo. I love how the dark parts of the blended photo took that beautiful pink color, the hair, the lips, fantastic. The brush work is super yummy and all those perfectly placed wooden stars are lovely! You pick wonderful layouts all the time but I think you totally deserve to be in the spotlight too!! Gorgeous page Cynthia!!

Laughing by Angelle – A big photo!!! One of my all time favs! Today too I have one lovely page to show you with a big photo! Look at the liveliness in this one! I love the mix of papers blended and text brushes. The wonderful black and white photo with this sweet feminine pink color. Fresh, sweet and fun! All in one!

Beautiful by emmyxlou  – Gorgeous layout here! I have to say that I didn’t notice the photo first!! lol I thought it was a non-photo layout at first sight lol SORRY! My eyes were enjoying all the colors from the brush work and the super wonderful paper-like style of this page before I could notice this cute little photo. I love the doodlely frame and the big paper alpha too. Very creative page!

Splish Splash by mimisgirl – Wonderful page here too with an amazing work on the background! Also an amazing paper-like feel to it, don’t you think? I don’t think it’s easy to take a picture facing the sun and I think here this one is pretty awesome with the sun reflection in the water. The photo blended in the back accentuating the hands is really well thought. Those cute little flowers and sequins give it a very sweet and girly touch. Beautiful summer page!

Hello Sunshine by Pheeebzzz – One more technique I love in digiscrap, and that I should try more often too, is the out-of-border photo. Here is a wonderful example. Depending on the photo it can be challenging to extract but it’s so worth it! And on top of that you have the usual wonderful brush work I love so much, and also some super fresh and summery colors! Great design from a Frenchy! Yay! lol

Dear Future by flohbock – Finally today, this page and especially, this photo! Look closely… Do you see the reflection in the glasses! How cool and fun! Of course the fresh colors and the brush work caught my eyes first, but the cherry on top is this fun and creative photo. The link with the journaling is just perfect!
