Hello, friends! It’s mid morning and already my day is off to a good start. My puppies and I have full bellies and all is peaceful and quiet. I’ve been browsing the scrapbook galleries with great interest this morning and I’d love to show you a few pages that caught my eye.
Serenity by femke272
We all have those photos we take and then sort of forget about for a while. Femke272 shares that this was one of those photos. Ultimately, she turned it into this elegant and calming page. The placement of the statue in-between the paper folds is simply perfect and all that was needed to finish the look was some well placed lace and a great title. For me, this is one of those pages that I could stare at for hours. For those that practice Yoga, doesn’t this inspire you to quiet yourself and chant . . . . Om?
Oh spring by Ga_L
This page caught my eye right away. I was impressed with the photography first. That kitty certainly is beautiful, and look at those eyes! The arrangement of photos seems perfect in connection of the soft colored and small patterned papers and small sized elements. It leaves plenty of room for white space. Great designing!
Leave a Little Magic by zinia
This page just stole my heart. Yes it’s true, I’m partial to pet pages, and this one seems to have it all. The adorable pet, the mix of soft colors and organic patterns, great shadow effects, perfect layering and some very sweet wordArt.
Ready to Ride by lizj
What a time this must have been! To be there while this little one was learning to ride a bicycle, AND to have a camera in hand to record those moments! I’d say, the timing could not have been better. The large photo grouping on the right is a real eye catcher and trust me, Liz is one of the best at storytelling. I can see that a lot of work went into this page, but I have no doubt that it was a labor of love.
All About Me by ChristineF
What a great way to document a specific time in your life. I’ve seen this type of page for the little ones as they’re growing up, but not so much with adults. We forget that we’re important too. The “me at 30” ship has sailed, but it’s never too late to do one of these. This is a super cute design with a nice color combination. I like the scattered flower clusters and her selfie right in the middle. Is everyone ready for an all about me page?
18th April – Tracy
I just love these front and back beachy photos and if it were me, I’d be smiling too. How could I pass up this happy page in bright yellow? The light pink and hot pink flowers as accents are a nice touch, and the use of white text paper along with the geometric designs in the background look great. It might be spring here, but at least for today, I’m looking towards summer. Thanks for the inspiration Tracy.
