Finger Pointing (June 7)

hguenthe's Acrophobia Ride

This is my first time featuring a page that actually makes me feel rather queasy....lol Everything about this is great (as long as you overlook the nausea): the morphing of the photographs, the heighted colour, the font work and title - it could almost be an advert transformed into a scrapbook page with the use of a worn overlay, the cleverely tilted angle for the date and journalling at the top corner. Wonderful.

charlize's 'Til Death Do Us Part

This is just lovely: super cute photo (great pose!) and I like the partial extraction, lovely colours and retro feel here.

Sashinamama's She

Beautiful photo celeverly displayed in the frame, I especially like the netting and bubbles - pure eye candy!

PaperSquares' Jacob

Love the unusual positioning of the photo, such a simple design but so effective. The paper creases add interest, great positioning of the paint and those orange buttons too.

mrshobbes' making a difference

The journalling here is definitely something I (and I suspect a lot of people reading this blog) can relate to at a couple of different imes in my life. It's beautifully scrapped, the great crop on the photo adds to the emotional draw of the page.

teys's It's a girl thing

I love the chocolate brown background and the smaller photo hanging off the edge of the page. A happy page full of girly fun (that makes me want to go and buy this kit immediately!)

NishaM's Treasures

This really could be an advert, or a page from a magazine. I really like the wide photo and all the brushwork at the bottom, the controlled colour palette works wonderfully, love the triangle of pink!

cjournet13's Bad boy

This made me laugh out loud when I clicked on it in the gallery! Great extraction and shadowing behind that bad boy and a fun collection of elements too.

ajaabney's Sorry

The colours and speech bubbles were what originally drew me to this page but the journalling really makes the page for me (something else I can also relate to). Great crop on the photo too.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
