Finger Pointing (July 5)

Hey everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Kate here with my picks from the galleries today:

neat freak's at the weekend

The space, the space, oh the space! Great use of the photo masks and perfect font choice for the titlework / journalling, the whole page feels so free and floaty.

cindys732003's Bounce

Great composition, the colours work beautifully together and the series of photos is such fun, I especially like the "boing, boing, whoops!" journalling tags!

alice's Colere

Wonderful use of the "bullseye" style paper, great photo and element usage for a cute / grumpy layout.

dbrprc's Hybrid Centerpiece

I have to admit to a fascination with the American 4th of July celebrations (there's no similar national day over here in the UK) and so this hybrid decoration caught my eye in the gallery straight away. The mix of patterns and all the fun little touches make this such a great project. I want to eat those sweets too.

scarlet sierra's scribble

Ok, hands up all the scrapbooking mothers who when discovering their child covered in marker pen reach for the camera before the soap?! I love the photo of that little scribbled upon hand (fab depth of field) and the little scribbles and doodles on the background. A beautiful way to record one of those everyday little moments that otherwise get forgotten.

Sheana's sparkle

My fascination with Independence Day continues here. Great sparkler photos and I love the different shaped pics and paper pieces. Lovely title too.

luzaine's Surprise

Breathtakingly beautiful, so delicate and pretty and full of hope, this is a real knockout page.

kathitownz's WHO AM I?

I find this page mesmerising, it makes me wonder what Kath was thinking about when she made it and what all the pieces symbolise to her.

TheWerners' Yahoo!

I'm a big fan of multi-photo pages and the composition here shows off so many fun summer photos but without overwhleming the page. A beautifully controlled colour palette and white background help those photos shine while also giving a wonderfully warm summery page to the page.
