Finger Pointing – December 20th

Hi Friends!  I can not get over the amazing layouts in the galleries today.  I picked more than normal, well, because I just couldn’t resist.  It was like picking and eating the best Christmas cookies without the calories!  So let’s get to it because the list is long today!

My first pick is Don’t Be Fooled by Jacinda. I love the classic styled layout, the lovely title work, and the great photos and journaling.  It’s just an all around excellent layout in my humble opinion!

Next is My Papa by Sheana. Today is my Dad’s birthday and he goes by Papa too, so this caught my eye today for sure.  I love the journaling, the great layering, and the special photos.  Don’t miss a chance to take pics of our older family members, they are so precious!

Next is Winter Beautiful by KatherineB.  While the elements are artfully placed, I just couldn’t get over the absolutely gorgeous photograph. What a beauty!  I love the layered snowman too. So cute!

The next amazing layout is Be You by Ferdy. I love the whimsical style, the fun and funky style, and the bright colors.  It’s nice to see a few different colors in the midst of the Christmas season!  I also love how she ran the journaling down the left hand side of the page, facing outward. That’s unusual and fun!

The next amazing layout is Star of Christmas by Zwick.  I love, love, love bokeh Christmas lights, so this layout does not disappoint.  The vibrant colors against the dark background are striking, just like Christmas lights on a dark winter’s night.

And yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and there are more layouts!  The next one is Satisfy Me With Chocolate by ladynorth.  Color. Chocolate. More Color. More Chocolate. Need I say more?

My final pick of the night is Joy to the World by mymalloryboys.  I love the photos, the lovely type placed in different ways around the page, and the spirit of charity that is the theme. It’s never too early to teach our littles the true meaning and value of helping others and bringing a little joy into the world.

This is my last day to pick before Christmas, so I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanaukkah, a meaningful Kwanzaa, and a fun Festivus for the rest of us.  May there be joy in your world, peace on Earth, and good will to all men and women.
