Finger Pointing (January 14)

It was pretty difficult for me in the galleries today. It took me a long time to finally narrow it down to just a few, but I hope you enjoy them.

Love the graphic touch with the lines and  halftone dots, but it was the crop of the photo blended in the background that made me take another look at this page. Add those wings and wonderful word art, and you have a stunner of a page!

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by shades of bliss

Clever using the title of the movie, and definitely makes you wonder what was up when looking at the photo. Just love how she illustrated it with the clouds and the girl with the umbrella. Her titlework is such an eye-catcher and wait….are those meatballs?

Nothing like a bold title expressing what’s on your mind. Love the color pops together with the simple background and the awesome brushwork!

More color and this time full page! Another huge title, but what really made this for me, is the ever so slightly peek at the photos tucked underneath the layers!
