Happy New Year everyone, Kate here with my first GSO of 2012! It was so tough to make my choices today, the galleries are full of all sorts of fabulous layouts! Eventually I managed to narrow it down and here are my favourites:

My Intentions by anneofalamo

I love the hogde podge collection of bits and pieces here, all tied together by the warm and cosy colours. An admirable list of intentions too!

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus by JALong

I just love this! The great titlework and  wonderful photo are perfectly set off by the unusual dark background. Such a fun and happy layout.

Pretty! Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty! A wonderful example of photos and kits working in harmony with each other to create a beautiful, cohesive page.

I love the crisp, clean and simple feel this has – just perfect for recording the start of something new!

Lake Nakuru 5 by thessh

Stunning, just stunning. The photography here is breathtaking and I like the feeling of pattern that comes from all those stripey zebra! Great colour choices for the papers and clever use of the frame to give a subtle focal point.

Summer rain by Ulrikaulrika

Another page with a great use of colour and a wonderful sense of fun! The more muted tones in the papers and elements let the photos stand out while the titlework picks out the hint of pink in the toys. The raindrops and vertical dots all add to the feeling of rain!
