Hello again! Here I am again, two days after my last post LOL. In Holland a lot of families celebrate ‘Sinterklaas’ with their little children. Mine are grown up now and we don’t celebrate it anymore. So I had plenty of time to pick some beautiful pages!

And then I have a little something to say about the designer adds around some of the pages. They pop up more and more lately and I don’t like it here. I understand why it’s done, but I remove them before I post the pages, because I think the Gallery Standout blog is a place to let scrappers shine, because of all the creativity and hard work they put in their pages. All the titles (and sometimes the pages too) here at the GSO blog are linked to the galleries where we found them and if someone is interested in who the designer is, they can go there and find out, most scrappers give credits for the things they used on their pages. With that said I will continue now with the picks of today!

2015 25 Days of Books by bestcee This is such a lovely idea! Instead of small (and sometimes unhealthy) adventpresents  countdown to Christmas with a book a day! I love how all the attention goes to the books and her little story. Love the titleplacement and everything ‘christmassy’ here. It’s such a sweet page!

Stories by Ren A very recognizable page, we sure have all our stories to tell! And Ren made a wonderful artsy page here! There’s so much to see. Ren’s blendwork is beautiful! Reminds me of all the family photoalbums I have (from my grandparents and my parents) and I should do more with them!

Appetizer in a glass by marijke I would have never thought of combining salmon and apple. I love this page by Marijke and it would be a great idea to make a whole book with favorite recipes! I love the drawings of kitchen utilities in the background and how Marijke chose the little flowers and branch to decorate her picture with.

Quantum journal by justpattyanne Whoo, this could easily be an advertisement for Circe du Soleil or a bookcover or a poster. PattyAnne did a wonderful job blending all these pitures and elements together to a coherent whole. There a lot to see and and think about, to me it is a magical page!

Wonderful by SeattleSheri Black and gold are a match made in heaven and this page proves it! It shines and twinkles all over! It is a true art to put so many elements together to a harmonious page. Great shadowwork and treatment of the picture and I love the background with all the little dots!

Winter Wonder by LovelyMissKait  A wonderful winterpage, my favorite season! Looking at this page I can almost feel the cold! MissKait used wonderful wintercolors with a touch of browns and blended them gorgeous. Love the snowflakes here and do you see the funny doggie?
