Hi everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far! We’re having a rather stormy Saturday here and just discovered a tree limb down in our backyard. Yikes! Hopefully, that will be the only one we lose. I know a lot of you probably have Father’s Day plans for tomorrow, so let’s hope the weather cooperates for families. I’ve been browsing through a lot of galleries today and there really is  a ton of eye candy to feast on. Believe me, narrowing them down to six standouts is no easy task but I think I have them ready to share with you now. I hope you like my picks today and get inspired. You can click on the titles/authors to link you directly to their galleries. I’m quite sure they would love a comment or two from our readers. Okay, here we go with Saturday’s finger pointing. Enjoy!

That Winning Smile by digigrandma

First of all, this one is appropriately titled! Just look at that winning smile! When I spotted this in the gallery, it just jumped out at me. This little guy is so adorable! I love that the focal photo takes up most of the page and isn’t the lighting just wonderful? The little clusters and word art are so cute and so is the little framed photo in the bottom corner. Wonderful layout! (This would make a very special Father’s Day gift!)

Every Summer Has a Story by gina

This layout is absolutely gorgeous! It’s the perfect example of creating a non-photo layout. The soft color palette is so yummy and the textures are amazing. I love the little flip flops charm hanging from the title and I also love all of the beach items so beautifully placed on the page. This layout makes you feel like you really are enjoying the beach on a summer day!

2014 XC SCS District 900 by ronnietexas

My next choice is simply a wow! The action shots are terrific and you can just feel the energy here. I think the black & white photo as the double-spread background is simply brilliant! The opacity is lowered, which allows the framed photos to really pop, yet the overall feel of the sporting event is enhanced by it. I love the split journaling, each with a bold subtitle. Fantastic!

 The Beach by Miss Parker

I love, love, love the blue and peach colors and the bokeh lights on this layout! I love the seagull sitting on top of the titled frame/photo too. There is such a rich mixture of beach elements and non-beach elements around the photo…flowers, starfish, ribbons, butterfly, etc. They all really add to the appeal of this whole page. Gorgeous layout!

 My Time by Rylea

My next selection is this very colorful art journal page! I love all the wordart quotes scattered across the page and the banner across the top. The whimsical doll is so cute and so are all the flowers. Great placement of all the elements and an overall delightful piece!

Koh Phangan by CrazyT

My final page today is a stunning one from Thailand. I love the graphic design and the how the photo is set off to the edge of the page! The brush work is amazing and blended beautifully. The colors are vibrant and perhaps a little unexpected for the photo. The quote is wonderful and so true. Awesome layout!

So that’s today’s finger-pointing standouts!  I hope you find some inspiration from these artists. Go create something amazing and I’ll see you in the galleries! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
