Hello and happy Sunday! Today’s picks are about stories told by single photos, great use of shapes and lines, doodly bits and cute kids! Come take a look!

This is Liz J., and these are my picks.

40 Today by Vrielinke

This kind of page really appeals to me. Great design choices, like the nice vertical lines she created with the paper, a little doodly touch with the cute envelopes (you can never go wrong with doodly, in my book), and a fun tone about people she obviously loves. I really like the stacked elements she created behind the photo, and the measuring tape and bracketed age are nice reminders of the theme of the page.

Check out this cool paper page! Love the puffy sticker look and the word strip journaling. I really like pages showing glimpses of real life being lived. Just a fun page about her love for gardening, and it made me want to go out and dig in the dirt too! Love the doodly lines added to the border and shapes, it made a big difference in making this page dynamic.

There were lots of terrific pages in the gallery this week using this template, and this was my favorite. Love the kraft and red together, and the cute little boy embellishment was perfect with that cute little boy photo!

I love the use of the bold blue stripe for the background, combined with the great element placement and shadowing. The circle framing overlaid on top of the frame stack makes this page just pop! I love the great word art combined with the cute embellishments, like the planes.

This is just sweet! Love the title work, the great colors, the look created with the background text/stripe paper, the torn frame and the embellishments. The cute little doodly car is a fun touch. I know this child will look back on this page in his album years from now and enjoy this page as much as I did!

I love Agnieszka’s style, she can combine artsy and doodly and an adorable photo and tell a whole story. This page has great vertical lines with the word art and doodly vine, and the combination with the beautiful stamped birds and artsy newsprint background is just amazing. Love the word art on the photo too.

That’s it for this Sunday! Hope you all enjoyed the joy of these pages too. If so, please click on the linked titles and leave the artists some love. Happy Independence Day to those of us in the United States, and hope you all have a great week!
