There were so many beautiful pages in the galleries today, and I had so much fun with these choices! Lots of color, joy, spring fun, and innovation to share today.
This is Liz J., and these are my picks.
This page uses pocket scrapping in a unique and vibrant way, and that “pop of color” really shines out of the gallery! Love the rainbows, the charming, candid photos, and those shoes! Love that big focal photo, it makes quite the statement (both fashion and scrappy!). Really cute, colorful page. This one totally cheered my day!

The use of white space on this page is just genius! Such a great scenic shot for the background, combined with a fun overlay for added weather! Love those doodly frames, and the stacked, different size photos. The text over the sandy area of the background photo was a great way to journal this. Love the pops of red and the clever embellishment placement. Great page.
I am so impressed by innovative ideas in scrapping. Magazine covers are such a fun way to document life. This one starts with the gorgeous photo, and then builds on the glossy cover theme with the great “article” advertising surrounding the photo. I love the fonts and the topic-specific mix for the “ads.” Well done!
A good dog page will steal the day every time! Great use of the masked focal photo, word art, and cute doodly flower embellishments. This is so joyful, the title was truly perfect. The little inset photo of the dog burrowing in the grass made a nice contrast to the focal photo. Too cute! Love that artsy flower painted on the right side of the canvas too, nice touch.
A clever use of angles and big, bold photo spots, this page is quite eye-catching! Love the choices she made on this page, from the subtle nearly-opaque cropped photo on the top right, to the bold pops of blue. The page also provides some details about the child at this age that will be so fun for the family to look back at later. That big balloon in the photos is just plain fun, and added to the appealing bigger-is-better tone of this page. This is stunning.
The thing that drew me to look more closely at this page was the stitched photo, because it’s an unusual way to frame a photo, and it reminded me of all the cool techniques and effects we get to utilize as digital scrappers. The text paper, interesting brush work and ledger paper leaves add to the outdoorsy feel of this. The final touches of the date spot and simple text announcing the location were just enough to tell us all we needed to know about this serene and restful page.
I hope you enjoyed today’s picks! Please share the love by clicking on the linked titles and leaving the artist some well-deserved praise. Have a great week!
