November 1 – how amazing is that!  I’m not sure exactly where October went!  We had a busy day here so it’s quite relaxing to stop for a few hours and browse through the galleries.  After much thought, and opening and closing of gallery pages, I managed to make my choices for today.

I saw One great big adventure by margje first on my Facebook feed while I was away from my computer.  I immediately fell in love and then was excited when I remembered that it was my day for GSO picks!  I love so many of the individual touches on the page but my favorite thing is the overall look of the page.  It’s definitely a WOW page!

Donna Goar is one of my favorite artists and I always love seeing new art by her.  Twilight Captured is a gorgeous blended-photo piece of art.  The choice of brushes, wordart, and stitches is perfection!  I love how calm the page makes me feel.  Love, love, love it!

I am definitely journaling challenged and am in awe of artists who can create a page with extensive journaling.   this matters by lcpereyra is an awesome page.  I love the geometric feel of the layout.  The muted color scheme keeps the focus on her journaling and that wonderful photo.  The little touches of the word strips, tag, and brush work balance the page beautifully.

I was immediately attracted to Template Challenge-November 16 by KarenB because of the beautiful blend of colors.  I love the repetition of the circles in the paper elements, the brushwork, and the flowers.  And who could resist that cute photo!  Gorgeous page!

And how about this for journaling!  I can’t read it all (OK, I can’t read any of it) but I’m in love with the amount and the brush work that “contains” it!  Colors seem to be a big draw for me today and the color palette of Daily Routine by Ga_L is so soft and pretty.  Love the brushwork grounding her element cluster and the daily routine list is just too cute!  Fantastic page!

The blending of the gorgeous photo on Budapest by nessita is absolutely stunning.  The placement of the photo creates a perfect combination of photo and white space.  The textures really add depth to the page.  She has kept the embellishments to a minimum which creates added interest without overwhelming the page.  Amazing page!

Those are my picks for today and I hope you have enjoyed seeing them.  If so, please find time to go to the gallery to check them out further and, while you’re there, leave a comment for the artists.  The images and the titles are linked to make it easy.  Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday.
