Hello, everyone, and welcome! Katherine here with today’s round of GORGEOUS Standouts! After having made my way through all the wonderful galleries I finally managed to narrow my choices to the required six, I could have easily chosen a dozen more! Seriously, at least a dozen more! I hope you adore my picks!
Up first is this delightful Project Life layout, appropriately titled PL2016 end page by Lizziet5. Really love the tonal feel here, and how the text, particularly the black text, contrasts so nicely against the muted palette. All the sayings are the perfect end to a Project Life album.
I absolutely ADORE this winter layout by Dpsbdennis titled Snowpocalypse. LOVE the masked and/or blended image as the background, it truly makes for the perfect backdrop for those STELLAR images! Love all the pops of red, too!
I couldn’t help but stop and stare at this next Standout titled NOW AND FOREVER by wombat146 when I came across it in the gallery. The capture is breathtaking, and the sketchy photo treatment is nothing short of stunning! The masking and/or blending is so masterful, and I love that the layout artist utilized very few embellishments, really keeps the focus on that stellar image!
Up next I have this super fun travel page by Jaye4 titled 137 Days. I really adore the tilted design here, it creates so much visual interest! The color palette is so gorgeous with the subtle pops of red! Love the layering and the movement that the dashed arrows create, too!
Next I have this super adorable birthday celebration layout titled Bake A Cake by Cherrylej. Truly, if I didn’t know this was digital I’d swear it was a traditional layout! Love the composition, and the shadow work is phenomenal!
Rounding out my choices this evening is this beauty by margje titled Home. The artistry here is so brilliant! Love the monochrome and sketchy feel! All the brush work is simply gorgeous! I mean, really r.e.a.l.l.y gorgeous! I always LOVE amazing brush work!
