Hi everyone! Carmel here – I’ve spent some time today browsing the galleries and have come up with an interesting mix of scrapbook pages to share.

High Country Adventure by tammielsmith. I love a big picture layout and this is just wonderful. First the great blending of the photo and the map edges and then the great cluster of the additional photo with the elements! Love the vertical title too!!

High School Friends by ptabbert – a great heritage layout. I love the layering of the two photo’s with all the elements and the soft brushwork on the background. Really lovely!!

Luna Leaps by SharLamb – I think there are a few descriptions for the technique used on the following layout – “photo extraction”, “out of bounds” ?? All I know is I love the effect and I am still working on mastering it!! This layout is just so good with the “out of bounds” element adding to the overall sense of movement in the photo. The great blending of the photo and the addition of just a few elements makes for a great page.

We Awaken by jenmaddocks – this just leapt out at me from the gallery – just a stunner!! Great masking and blending with that silhouette and the simple wordart – amazing!!

Make Love, Not War by paula Kesselring – Love the sentiment and the deceptively simple feel of the next layout. Great shadow work makes it seem like you could almost feel the fabric and stitching. When combined with the black and white photo’s it is just superb.

and finally Mechanical Part by jcaruth910 – I love the blending, brushwork, great choice of elements and the wordart – well, really I just love it!!

Well I hope my picks today encouraged you to sit down and scrap some pages or at least go out to the galleries and leave some love. Until next time – happy scrapping.
