Happy Sunday everyone! I’ve been on vacation and am getting back in the swing of things of real life. I scrapped a quick Project Life page this morning and using my pretty digi supplies and now seeing all the beautiful layouts in the galleries is really putting me in the scrapping mood!

So, without further ado, here are my picks for today …

Joy of Summer by Kat Hansen

As soon as I saw Kat’s page in the gallery this morning I knew I had to choose it for today’s post! I love her collection of photos – the wonderful large blended photo, the center more distinct blended photo, along with the framed photo. What an awesome design! I love that her photos are black and white along with the soft orange and pink colors. What an awesome page!

Love this Place by DivaMom96

This page caught my eye right away. Again, I love the black and white photos and the large photo in the background broken into separate sections. The framed photo is perfect … what a great idea to have a photo of someone taking a photo of such a gorgeous scene! I love it. I love the artist’s simple cluster of seashell and flower elements, the stitching holding down the photo strip and the “unforgettable” brushwork. Beautiful!

Captured by Isa Marks

What a happy page! I like the bright paper strip on the top drawing your eye into the page and the great brushwork behind the photo, card and elements. And of course I need to mention that the artist’s shadowing is perfect!

Sail Away by Veer

What a stunner! I love that amazing beach scene blended into the background! The line of cutout shapes is such a nice touch and a perfect backdrop for her framed photo. What a pretty page!
Good Vibes Only by marivi

I love how the artist split the page in half with the white top background and the great patterned star paper on the bottom. I like the simple shadow work on the photo and the curled shadowing of the tags. What a nice touch to have the stacking of handwritten tags along the side. The artist’s shadow work is perfect … I’m really not certain if this is a digital page or if it’s a photo of a paper page. Awesome!

All the Bubbles by Allison LP

Can I just say what a happy page this is. I love the bright colored circles behind that adorable photo! What a fun collection of little elements she added within the circles. What a fun, fun page!

So, that’s it for me today. Time to get to work on my long to-do list of things to do now that I’m back home from vacation. Writing my GSO post was first on the list though … just because it’s a great way to start the day!

Happy Sunday everyone!

  1. Thanks so much, Barbara, for featuring my page. I am honored and thrilled. Congratulations to all the other honorees – beautiful layouts!!

  2. Thanks for highlighting my “All The Bubbles” layout. This is the second time one of my layouts has been highlighted, and it makes it even more special since I’m not a digi-scrapper 🙂

    1. Digi and paper scrapping … they’re all awesome! It’s all about the memory keeping. A beautiful page is a beautiful page – and yours was gorgeous!
