Welcome to today’s Standouts! The galleries have been super busy as usual and I’ve enjoyed an inspired wander through them this afternoon. It’s incredibly easy to get absorbed in checking out all the goodness, the stories and the memories shared by all across the world and here’s the pieces that caught my eye today.

Arte Banale has a wonderful way of incorporating pretty little detail that just begs to be noticed – just check her page entitled Sunshine! All that lovely detail explodes from the white masking, adorning the pretty photo perfectly while the beautifully soft colour palette is super gentle on the eye and the framing and shadowing is simply perfect! So, so pretty!

Tracermajig is another artist who can put together a various elements, seemingly effortlessly. I love the punch that Good Vibes Only provides, with a mix of eye-catching colours and a great design. It’s like a treasure chest and each time I take a look, I spot something that I hadn’t noticed before. A real feast for the eyes!

You may know that one of my favourite design features is white space – and lots of it. Loving Pink by KarenB is so beautiful in it’s relative simplicity. Perfectly structured with minimal detail, this page draws the eye into the sweet photo and from there, we drink in the rest of the layout. There’s something so calm about this style of scrapping and this masterpiece is definitely in the ‘less is more’ category. A wonderful piece of work!

I love the framing that Dady has used on her Adorable page – the grid, and how the images are laid with it, is amazing. Again, another relatively simple design that allows the images to shine. I love the repetition of the images that are cropped to provide a different perspective, the lightly patterned backdrop and those little red elements that provide that perfect pop! So sweet!

Ramping up the colour and energy is Dandelion Days by Candylai244. I love how the cluster of detail flows down the page like a waterfall, leading to the very clever journaling, incorporating perfectly placed elements among the text. This layout is so rich in detail and colour, and I love the ‘100 weeds or 100 wishes’ quote. Amazing!

When I spotted Relax by Isa Marks in the gallery, my first thought was ‘WHOA’! A cool image nestled on a stack of perfectly coordinated layers, a few elements here and there, a button, some brads, some word strips and word art, and a smattering of paint spots all against THAT backdrop. This is seriously swoon-worthy!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my picks for today. When you have a spare moment, please click on the links above and leave a comment or two for the artists. Till next time, have a great week and I’ll see you in the galleries!
