Artists have been busy creating this weekend and the galleries are overflowing with gorgeous projects. That makes it easy to choose projects to feature on the blog but difficult to limit it to six. It’s Beatrice on the blog today and here are my picks.
It’s finally beginning to feel more like summer in Michigan and this page popped out of the gallery for me. I love the photo crops and the horizontal design. It works so well with the horizontal striped paper. I like the paper waves clustered underneath and the addition of the boat and anchor element which support her beach theme.
I really like the unique design of this monthly pocket page. The photos are carefully chosen to represent the first month of summer. I like the way the wooden letters are separated, each placed in one of the coordinating paper squares. The flowers added on top in the triangle formation and paint spatters below complete the page flawlessly.

The soft palette in this layout really attracted me. The stacked photo is precious and I like the way it’s clipped to the page. I also like the way she used the journal cards. I’m always open to new ideas on how to use them. I really like the dotty swirls and the placement of the heart brads.
The photo series in this layout made it a standout to me. I like the variety of photo crops and the way they are overlapped. The painted background is lovely and works well with the black and white photos. The short caption is perfect for her journaling.
Happy Birthday 2 by SandrinEve
This hybrid project is adorable. I like the paper she chose for the background. It’s so colorful and themed just right for her page. I like the bits she scattered about especially the tag and the balloons.
This is such a beautiful heritage page. I like the way she chose photos from three generations. They really work well together. The stitching and ribbon link the photos visually just as they are linked in reality. I think the big splash of red really helps the photos standout. Adding the b in the middle which I assume is their monogram finishes the page off just right.
I’ve come to the end of my post so it’s time for me to head outside on this gorgeous day. I hope you have time to click through these layouts and leave these well deserving artists some love.
