Hello – it’s me, Carmel, again. After a day of visiting medical specialists (it’s 6 weeks since my husband’s total knee replacement) I’m looking forward to some time looking through the galleries to bring you my picks for today!

I think I may have mentioned that I love big picture layouts so this caught my attention “Grateful For This” by MaggieMae. Then when I had a closer look – I just love the photo effect of the main pic, the additional small pic and the simple addition of just a few elements. Fantastic

I also love photoless layouts, so this caught my eye – Your Wings Already Exist by tomosia. This has great background blending and I love the glitter circles. The additional of the wordart and the few elements with perfect shadowing make for a great layout. Wonderful.

This also caught my attention – seems like a simple layout until you look closer!! Summer – sondrateer. Great photo to start with, expertly masked and blended and then highlighted by great overlays and scribbles with just the one element!! Inspirational.

Next -Another great layout on a summer theme – Seaside by bryanna. A great masked photo beautifully blended into the background and I love all the seaside elements highlighting the photo, especially the water drops!! Just lovely.

Next a wonderful tribute to a beautiful lady by nanascrapper – I love the layered papers and great background. Great choice of colors to compliment the photo and those clusters are just perfect. Really Beautiful.

I’m going to finish with another large photo layout – Toes In The Sand – Glori2. This page is just gorgeous celebrating a great lifetime event. The three photo’s are wonderful and again I like the layered paper background. Great color choice and clustering of the elements set of the page wonderfully. A great happy feel to the whole layout!

Well, that’s my picks for today – seems to be a trend towards summer themed layouts at the moment!? We are heading into winter here in Australia, so I love seeing all the bright, beachy layouts.

Till next time – happy scrapping!!
