Good evening! What a beautiful day today has been!  The weather was amazing, and the day full of family, joy and shopping!  I can’t wait to begin preparing all of the wonderful dishes and treats I have planned for this weekend.  And, to top it off, I had the opportunity to browse the galleries and find some truly beautiful expressions of love out there tonight.  So sit back, join me in a glass of wine (or whatever), and let’s explore the galleries.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, I found this beautiful layout by helenedubois.  She has a such a flair for blending and color!  I love the gorgeous outdoor Thanksgiving table, the partial frame and all of the brushwork behind it which adds texture and interest.  Great use of paint and masking, too.

Paths by Dady is another gorgeous example of blending.  I really love her photo treatment and use of color.  She, too, used paint splotches to add texture and interest, as well as an adorable little bird element perched smack dab in the middle of the layout.  Love it!

Cookies by tkradtke made my mouth water!  What a gorgeous photo of her cookies, and what a wonderful layout she created with it!  I love how she used the word block as the background paper.  Her matted photo stands out beautifully and the simple element at the bottom is just perfect.   What a beautiful way to document a treasured memory.

As I was already hungry, the next layout jumped out at me and increased my appetite.  I love this series of photos in Feasts by zinzilah.  What a great look she managed to capture on the little one’s face!  I really like how she let the photos speak for themselves and took her color from the cherries on top of the waffle.  A simple, yet beautiful design.

Magical Moments by O’Kate caught my eye right away.  I love the gorgeous papers that make up her octagons, and they bring out the colors of the photo so well!  Her brushwork and word art adds so much to the overall feel of the layout, as well.  Just beautiful.

And lastly, we have Rotterdam by jumlai.  I am a sucker for blended cityscapes, but what really grabbed me about this one is how she put her photo on what appears to be a scrap of paper!  What amazing blending and brushwork here!!  I love her photo treatment and how she used color and fabulous shadow work to enhance the photo.  This is truly a standout!

Thanks so much for reading tonight.  Don’t forget to leave some loving in the galleries!
