Hello everyone and welcome to September – already!! This year has gone to fast, hasn’t it? It’s the second day of Spring here in Australia. I am expecting to see a lot of autumn layouts appearing in the various galleries over the next few weeks, as those of you in the northern hemisphere head into that season.
Let’s see what standouts I find today!

Firstly, I love wide open spaces so I really was drawn to this “Into The Wild” by Maruma. I love the photo on a tag idea and the background brushwork with just a few elements to finish it off. Great layout!

Next “Find The “Beautiful” by Armygrl – a great layout of a photo taken on a daily walk. It is amazing how beautiful Nature can be – and this layout shows it off wonderfully – I love the minimal embellishments with just the paint in the background and the few elements.

Next, with a really soft feel, Compass by Chili. I love the overall feel of this layout with the circular shape and cutout paper pieces. The black and white photo is such a great choice and then the spray of flowers and butterflies – just beautiful.

Next – “Up, Up and Away” by Adryane – this is such a great heritage layout. I love the the brushwork and layering under the photo and the multiple use of the photo across the different frames. Just amazing.

I love the blended papers for the background of Waterfall by Rochelle86. They are a great background for the wonderfully blended photo which is then simply highlighted by the bouquet of flowers.

I had to post an autumn layout and found this – Changing Colors by Mother Bear. I love the big picture, the layered paper pieces and the profusion of leaves and flowers. A really great autumn layout really giving the feel of the season.

That’s my picks for the day – hope you liked them – remember, when you are browsing the galleries, leave some love for those layouts that stand out for you. We all appreciate a little praise and encouragement. Until next time – Happy Scrapping.
