I’m going to say Happy Saturday everyone even though Saturday is almost over already. Somehow this day got away from me. I sat down to my computer this morning and did some browsing in the galleries and found these lovely layouts but then didn’t have a chance until now to come back and post. Better later than never though, right?! So … lets get started!
Outdoor by Ngoc Nguyen Thi
What a lovely page. I love that darling black and white photo paired with the muted colors and the way she sliced the page in half with the plaid and floral patterned papers. I like her pretty element clusters and the mixture of cut out shapes with patterned papers peeking through and the popped patterned papers. It all works so well together.
Hello Autumn by Anke
This page by Anke is absolutely stunning! The coloring is perfection and I love the way she blended the flower and textures, etc. This is just such a beautiful piece of art. Those leaves, the doodles, the string, the text … it all just works so very well together. This would be gorgeous hanging on the wall or as an album cover!
Donna Grade 1 by Donnatopia
How awesome is it that Donna scrapped a photo of her first day of first grade when she was a child! I love the retro tints that her photos have. Perhaps she added the vintage tones, perhaps they simply have those tones. Who knows … it all just works perfectly! Her journaling is wonderful. I love reading that she looked forward to reading so that she would be able to read the Sunday comics all by herself! How wonderful to go back and scrap childhood memories like these!
Week 3, 2018 by tracermajig
What an great project life style pocket page. I love how much journaling is included to tell the story of the week. The epoxy fox that matches the stuffed Herschel is perfect. There are so many details to look at with the elements and the photos – the stitching, the tapes, the torn notebook paper … LOVE! Won’t this be a treasure to look at years down the road?!
Enjoy! by Cinna71
What an awesome end of summer page. I love the perspective of the large photo … and if you know me you know I love large photos! I like how she placed her accent photos and journaling on the left side and that adorable cluster with the fox on the right. Such a pretty page!
Autumnal Windmills by Jana
Oh my gosh. I don’t think that Jana has ever created a page that I haven’t loved – she’s so creative! – and this page is no different. I love her blending work and the muted colors and the doodle lines. I love the way the windmill photo looks painted on the page and the way the doily is lightly peeking through. Absolutely beautiful!
So … again, better late in the day then never. There are always so many beautiful layouts in the galleries to choose from for these GSO posts. It’s a challenge to keep it to 6 layouts. Don’t worry though … there will be 6 more layouts featured on the blog tomorrow.
Have a great rest of your weekend everyone! I hope you can find some time to get in some scrapping!
Thank you so much, Barbara!! 🙂
Wow, Thanks Barbara… you just made my day!
