“All in all it was a never to be forgotten summer. One of those summers which leaves a heritage of beautiful memories in its going.”
~ L.M.Montgomery

A bold title, a few well placed embellishments, a splash of summer yellow, and a precious pooch pic, arranged together to create summer perfection!

The chippy shabby paper on my next pick gives this summer page a faded beachy feel. I love the tiny banner clipped to the doodly white frame. The few little flowers and sweet owl finish the page off nicely.

Bulgaria 2009 by zwyck

What an incredible work of art! The textured paint is a beautiful background for the creatively edited photo. The perspective of the Ferris wheel shot from below adds to the drama of this stunning page.

Flying High by Scrappie Irene

My next pick is a splendid example of the simple things that make summer memorable. That pretty watercolor paper brings out the colors in the beautiful photos. I love the little word strips and the hint of paint behind the creative cluster.

From California to New York by twinsmomflor

This creative page is so bold it jumped right off my screen. I envy artists that can create such artwork with paints and stamps. And what a great way to document a cross-country trip. I love the social media icons and the fun ellies she added. Very cool page!

Love is a Dog by kmchambers64

My last page is another sweet puppy page. Ruby loves her morning runs and I love how the photo has captured her on the docks early in the morning. The paw-prints along the photo mat are so cute. Notice how she hung the heart charm to her title. The grungy paint adds just the right amount of texture.
