Greetings, everyone!  It’s rainy, chilly and blah today in Tampa – what a wonderful day to be blogging!  I can curl up with a blanket, light some candles and cruise the galleries looking for great layouts.  So, without further ado, DivaMom96 brings you her picks for the day.

First up, we have Those Eyes by Adrianita.  What an adorable photo!  I love her photo treatment – B&W is such a great choice for a newborn.  Her soft blue color choices really add to the calm moment she captured.  I like her textured background, the watercolor smudges and dotted lines.  Such a beautiful layout for a precious memory!

Our next standout is Free Spirit by AliceM.  What a great photo – such attitude!  The bright colors and feathers really help to describe the wonderful spirit of the young girl pictured.  I especially love the torn paper layers and colorful flowers.

Next up, take a  look at In The Big City by Mielz.  I LOVE her photo treatment – what a great sketch/watercolor combo!  I like how she only used a portion of the photo (great mask) and then stamped over the photo.  The shadowing on the frame really makes the photo pop!  A great example of why digital scrapbooking is amazing.

Next up – Too  Cool for Rules by bcnatty.  I am rarely brave enough to use black as a background paper – look how FABULOUSLY it works!  And, she added or blended in paints or other papers on top.  Such wonderful texture.  I also love her foil ribbons under the cute picture.  This really is a stand out!

My next pick is Sofa by sterkeurs.  How fabulous is this!  She made a gorgeous layout out of a photo of her new sofa.  This really is totally awesome.   I love the papers she used and the wonderful dotted line behind the photos and labels.  Great job!

Last, but my no means least, we have Nature’s Artistry by Malou29.  What gorgeous colors!  I love her framing and how she took the colors of the roses and brought them outside the frame with watercolor.  So simple, but beautiful.

That’s it for today.  Don’t forget to leave some loving in the galleries!
