“And all at once, summer collapsed into fall.” – Oscar Wilde

…and Christmas arrived at the big box stores. Whoa! Let’s slow it down and ignore the dancing santas propped up next to the novelty vampire teeth for a moment. Let us instead focus on all the gorgeous layouts on display in the galleries this morning. I’ve said it before, but I really had a hard time narrowing down my choices today. So. Much. GOODNESS!

This fabulous page started with a template, but the way this artist made it come to life is wonderful! Her paper choices look lovely against the mostly white background paper, and are anchored together by the fun brushwork. Her cluster is so free and casual. I love the inclusion of the scrabble tile!

The colors in my next pick are bold and beautiful! I love the contrast of the soft red flowers against the deep blue damask paper. And adding the brushwork in white really helps to make the perfectly layered photo cluster pop.

The stitching is what sets this layout apart in the galleries. I love how she used the tags as photo mats. The tiny location arrow and flair are so well chosen. Great journaling, word bits, and title. A perfect clean and simple stand-out page!

The shadowing and elements in my next choice fooled me into thinking this was a traditional paper layout… well done! Notice all the texture in this page: the ribbon trim, the fuzzy alpha, the dangling charm, the teeny little heart added to the edge! And I love the journaling placed in the doodly little boxes.

Such a cool journal page! The colors are gorgeous and the flower clusters are just perfect. I love the journaling and the perfectly placed title. Everything flows together so well. The attention to all the small details make this page a stand-out!

Those fabulous balloons practically floated off this page in the gallery… it’s so well shadowed! I love her tiny clusters and how they frame the photo. The paper bits are so clever and the way she cropped her photo so casually is inspirational!

Don’t you agree these are all terrific pages?! If you have a moment today, turn your focus to the galleries. They’re a great source for motivation and inspiration. And spread some goodness while you’re there!
