Joanna (cutiejo1) here to spread a little more finger pointing cheer. Most of us GSO bloggers are on a bit of a break from finger pointing your gorgeous pages. But, I wanted to do a special post to highlight a few pages I found while browsing the galleries. I do have to say that this time of year is a bit slower…not as many pages being uploaded into the galleries. But, again, just couldn’t help myself, so here goes!
Desperately Wanting…{we can’t always get what we want} by MrsPeel
Each year, Cynthia usually makes a couple of Holiday Edition posts hi-lighting the Gallery Standout bloggers who work so hard during the year to bring you the blog posts you see on a daily basis. But, Cynthia herself needs to be recognized also!!! She really has a gift in seeing all the wonderful little details on scrapbook layouts and then putting what she sees into words. I’m not nearly talented enough to do justice with her page, but alas, I have tried…
Just wow! Cynthia has totally outdone herself with this intriguing page! First off, can you even believe the awesome talent with that drawing?! It is simply amazing…the swirling words around the figure and the detail is so awesome. Next, all Cynthia is asking Santa for this year is that people follow safety guidelines so we can all get through this Pandemic unscathed, which she eloquently puts into her journaling. Such great use of elements scattered throughout the grid, letting the viewer know what’s on everyone’s mind these days. I love that mixed title font and how it’s split between the top and bottom of the page.
Winter Wonderland by Greenfiend
This page really spoke to me as I was browsing the galleries. The colors work really well together. And those gorgeous photos have just the right amount of that green to help them stand out. The clustering is really well done and shadowed nicely too.
2002-The-Johnston-Farm by Iowan
What an awesome page! I love the idea of putting together those torn photo masks to create one large photo center stage. And all those delicious layers with realistic shadows really help this page shine.

I couldn’t pass up a chance to show you all the clustery goodness that Tammy created on this page. From that fabulous photo, gorgeous colors, sparkle and shine, everything about this page is just really stunning.
2019 Christmas Ornaments by mmbstaley
Such a cute idea and page! I love the idea of this page, to showcase all those cool ornaments hanging on the tree. I like how all the elements are hung on ribbons and how all the photos are numbered and put into those frames that are also hanging down from the garland.

Sarah is a kindred spirit, she always leaves such sweet comments and is a cluster goddess! This page of hers is so indicative of her scrapping style, tight and beautiful clusters, and shadowed perfectly. Such a romantic and beautiful page. Love seeing those smiling faces.
That’s it for me today. Hope you find a few minutes to leave some love for these scrappers and find some inspiration of your own in the galleries. Until next time, happy scrapping and Happy New Year!
Wow, this was a super surprise, a perfect Christmas present. Thanks for selecting my layout and congrats to those with other layouts featured today. ❤️❤️
