Happy Saturday! I hope you’re spending the day doing something that you love. I’ve been contemplating sewing machines today and I’m so tempted to click on that buy button. It’s been a while since I sewed but I’m looking for another creative outlet – not that I have the time but hey, that doesn’t matter, right? It’s probably best I sleep on it and see if I still wake with the passion tomorrow… in the meantime, let me share some gorgeous pieces of work that I found in the galleries today!

Opening up today is Soco_Cards&WordsNo8_FranGardner by frani_54. Such an amazing backdrop and I love all the random stitching. The cute photo works well with the neutral tones, while the gentle shadowing adds a little depth. The word art finishes off this page nicely and is the perfect message to us all! Awesome page!

I just couldn’t resist Stardust by Scrappie Irene. Pretty floral clusters, shadowed perfectly, adorn the adorable photo’s and the beautiful pink and green tones are just so dreamy. And, as a lover of word art, this word art is to die for! An amazing page that is so eye catching!

I love it when an artist gets creative with their photography and a great way to attract attention is with the perspective of the image. Encourage by sylvia is a wonderful mix of playful and powerful and spanning the image across a frame trio works perfectly to add impact while the minimalist colour palette keeps everything beautifully casual. Stunning!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Scraptious is a shining example of great page design with all that lovely white space. I love how the photo is framed with the brushwork and florals and the colour palette that packs a punch. And sheesh! You’ve just gotta love that sass! Wonderful!

A gorgeous “about me” page is Moment by Anke. I love how light this page is with just a dash of colour here and there and how it flows beautifully from left to right. Dainty elements, lovely word art and a short and sweet journaling block finish this page off perfectly! Love this!

Coastal pages always make me *sigh*. Especially those that have a glorious backwash of watery tones like Beach Photo by Joansmor. I love the framing of the blended image, the simple title work and the complete sense of peacefulness this work of art displays. Absolutely gorgeous!

I do hope you’ve enjoyed the gorgeous pieces of art that I brought to the table today and I hope they inspire you to create a page or two of your own. When you have a moment, please click on the links about and leave a comment or two for the artists – I know they will appreciate your time. Till next time, take care, stay safe and I’ll see you in the galleries!

  2. Thanks so much for selecting this layout of my granddaughter, Liz! You’ve made my day. It’s always such an honor to be included here at GSO. Yobeth (ada Scraptious)
