Hey guys! Heidi Nicole coming at you with some beautifully inspiring layouts on this sunny Sunday afternoon!
In this time of uncertainty in our world, we are so blessed to have our community to lean into. This family that we have created has given so many of us comfort. It’s a safe place to chat with our friends, share praises and worries, and find peace amidst the chaos. I know I’m not the only one who has come to the forums and galleries for some quiet and peace… or sat down to pour my heart and soul into a project when things just get ‘too much’.
I personally thank each and every one of you… layout artists, creative team members, designers, forum moderators, store owners, bloggers, and everyone else who makes this community what it is. It’s a beautiful place, and we are blessed!
So enough talk…. let’s do this.
This page caught my eye immediately. I fell in love with the vertical design and the sweet colors. She used the journal cards in a unique way, and that photo is oh-so-nostalgic! To top it off, using the throwback stamp in the background brings it all together! You just can’t help but smile when looking at the layout…
Just take a moment and soak this one in. That big photo is absolutely stunning. I can literally feel the last remaining warmth of that setting sun. The minimal elements are perfectly placed so as not to take away from the photograph. Makes me wish I was there!
This layout is expertly layered and created. Biancka has managed to create clusters and layers and all kinds of goodness, without crowding the page. She seamlessly connected the bottom and top with the use of that tag, and I’m in love with the word strips and the use of the globe. I could go on and on… just perfect decisions here, from the paper choices to the photos.
This is a layout that is all about the photos. They share such emotion. They tell the story. The use of white space, black and white photos, and the minimal journaling creates such drama. The shadowing on the string is spot on and the tone on tone stamp lends such grace. Just stunning.
This is truly a work of art. I am just in awe at the placement of the delicate elements inside the silhouette. The shadows are perfect and all those graceful flourishes make me swoon… I just can’t stop looking at it! She has developed a stunning example of art journaling… I am absolutely inspired!
What a lovely contrasting layout! The black and white background paper with all those bright, fun colors creates such happiness! Gorgeous clustering and use of paper layering just adds to the happy vibe! I especially love the unique way she journaled her story at the bottom. This just makes me so happy!
That’s it for today! Hope you are as inspired as I am right now… Sending thoughts and prayers to all my scrappy friends for health and safety!
