Hey everyone!  Heidi Nicole here enjoying a beautiful Saturday here in Northern Kentucky…  Things are starting to seem a little more ‘normal’ around here, and I am overjoyed at the thought… I am hoping for all of you the same joy!

Here’s my creative picks for the day…

Coffee at Home by Kate.makes

This is a stunning work of white space.  I LOVE the sweet little hearts bordering the photo and journaling, and the hearts up in the corner balance the page so nicely.  The split photo and minimal elements work perfectly in this piece.

Beach Bliss by Sharonbertolino

This took my breath away.  The way she chose to make the background photo look like a painting and then add the elements at the forefront is genius.  The clustering of the elements and perfect shadowing come together to make this a wonderful, peaceful, and perfect layout.  Takes me right there to the sea…

Calmness by KarenB

Another white space page that demands credit… it’s stunning.  The shadowing particularly is outstanding.  I love that the title is ‘Calm’ and the layout itself lends itself the a calming feeling.  The way the photos are stitched together is a wonderful little detail that just adds to the whole feel.  Just a beautiful page!

Things of Nature by A J M

First of all, the filter on the photo is spot on for this page.  The layers and depth of the mushrooms and the layered elements come together flawlessly.  It’s just such a beautiful way to spotlight the photo and the nature that surrounds us.  The grungy paper lends an art journaling touch, yet it’s in a beautifully subtle way.  Such a lovely page.

Calm by Mrivas

Ah, I love a paper style layout!  This is such a good one…  the layers of the papers, the scatter, the flower, and all the loveliness that goes with it.  Great shadowing and page design… and a beautiful smile to top it off!

I noticed my ‘theme’ today was calmness and serenity… after spending a relaxing day in the sun with my best friend, that’s definitely my mood right now!

Stay safe and be well, my creative friends!
