Happy Monday everyone!!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a great one, I did a virtual cardmaking class with friends, did a speed scrap and watched all the sports!! Watching Formula 1 requires me to be a bit insane as I had to get up at 4.45am on Sunday – ugh. But totally worth it.

I had a happy browse through the galleries last night and I realised that I was being drawn in by all the wonderful pages that feature our furbabies.

Hclappy – Sleepy

How happy is this cute kitty! Totally at one in his/her surroundings. I love the way she has used the word art, capturing the mood. The different kinds of triangles are great, using them as outlines is really nice and opens up the page. The colour palette is just so warm and suits the sleepy mood of the kitty. The paint splatters and scattered buttons complete the page.

I’m so sorry that Jack didn’t love his time at the Vet’s but it has made for a gorgeous layout. The wonderful flower and leaf spray is great and ties all the elements together for me.  I like a horizontal strip on a page and the heart paper used here is so pretty! I am a big fan of using frames, but I don’t do it enough and the postage stamp style one here, has me wanting to immediately create a layout with one too!
I mean I just love everything about this. The amazing photo of Jaye’s dog works so well with the slightly washed out/faded background paper and the chicken wire under the paper layers is fantastic. I like the use of a teeny bit of colour that is followed through with the scatter and the flower. I found the whole thing just really soothing.
This is such a clever page, using the girl as the ‘me’ in the phrase and how sweet are they together! The cluster on the right-hand side is wonderful, such rich colours and the leaf stretching out, connecting the ‘porthole’ dog photo, is another clever little touch.
My head exploded a bit when I realised that this is TWO kitties!! They look super cozy together, can I get in for a snuggle? The layers here are gorgeous and the colours are so rich and compliment each other really well – the little bit of yellow and blue is unexpected and really works. I like all the little elements kind of hanging out from the cards and frame and the messy stitching all around.

AnnePC – Relax

I just love this, they are just so happy and relaxed together. The whole page just screams relax, the soft colours, and the clean, open layout. As always I am a big fan of pops of colour and so the little orange buttons made me very happy.

That’s all from me today, hope everyone is staying safe and I hope that you are inspired by the wonderful pages I’ve shown you today.

Please do spare a minute or two to leave some love, we all know how much of a difference it can make, especially right now in trying times.

Cx
