“There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.” G.K. Chesterton
(I have found this to be true in most things, the one exception being scrapbooking supplies. And according to my husband, golf stuff.)
On this thanksgiving eve here in the US, we are preparing to gather with our families (*some restrictions apply) to give thanks for the bounties in our lives. Being grateful for blessings large and small, gives one perspective in this materialistic world. Gratitude is a positive emotion, a “good thing”, something we all crave. And I am grateful for all the beautiful gallery images I find each time I search. They inspire me and make me smile. Here are my stand-out layout choices for today…
Fall Color by NAdams
Such beautiful blending! The paints, stamps, and gesso meld together to create a gorgeous backdrop for the lovely fall photo. The simple embellishments she chose are perfect. I love how she created the slits to tuck her photo… so creative!

Procrastination by joelsgirl
I love this fun page! The tiny corkboard with the sticky notes, the colorful paper strips, the wonky title, and the ellies scattered about… so fun! ( Side note: searching the galleries is required to write these blog posts. Therefore, all the time I spend looking at pretty pages is research, not procrastination.)

Shop Til You Drop by Domi092
That fun title is what first caught my eye in the galleries. It’s really the focus of the page. The pretty paper choices are perfect. Very nice extraction and simple but effective shadowing. Great page!

Sparkle by Stephanie_E
Wonderful story here! A new wedding ring after 32 years is so sweet. I love how she created the tree with circles and filled them with paper, photos, and text. The gold embellishments layered behind are perfect. Clever page!

The Holidays 2020 by Tronesia
That bold pattern paper is gorgeous! I love the inclusion of the alpha cards. The cluster layered on her journaling is a very artistic touch. Notice the date bit along the edge and the messy stitching. Stand-out page!

Alhamdulillah For… by zakirahzakaria
This is just such a beautiful page. All those soft pastel colors and floral patterns. I love the tiny word bits and their vertical arrangement. The different font and alpha work is perfect! The pops of black really add to the page. Thank you for sharing this lovely layout!
