Gooooood afternoon, everyone!  DivaMom96 here on this gorgeous day, at least here in Tampa, FL.  I know it’s been dreary around the country with lots of rain, so here’s a little bit of cheer to brighten your day: gorgeous layouts from around the web.  I hope you enjoy my picks!

Shabby Chic Halloween by apottinger

Halloween is fast approaching and the galleries are full of scary, ghoulish and gorgeous layouts.  I fell in love with this one immediately.  What a great title!  The color coordination is fabulous on this layout, as is the design.  My eye travels comfortably around the page and I keep finding adorable elements beautifully placed around the photos.  This is going into my “Must Be Scraplifted” folder – beautifully done!

Just Be Yourself by dotcomkari

What a great layout!  This layout caught my eye over and over again.  First I was drawn to the framing (so cute), and then the fabulous doodling, then the paint … well, you can see why I picked it.  Everything about this says: Just Be Yourself. Beautifully done!

I adore everything about this wonderful layout!  Look at that fabulous circle filled with scrumptious papers and surrounded by circular stitching!  It did stop me in my tracks in the gallery.  Such joy emanates from this layout.  Gorgeous!

Boo To You by krista lund

I love, love, love pocket pages!  And this page is by one of my favorite pocket page designers.  She is a master of telling a story with her pages, and this Halloween page is a perfect example.  Pocket pages look deceptively simple, but I find them challenging to create – so many places to put things!  What I love about this page is that each pocket is part of the story – her family’s visit to the pumpkin farm, the cute jack-o-lantern T-shirts referencing Halloween, and the ultimate date of Halloween.  Each embellishment is perfectly placed to help the eye travel from place to place.  So much to love here.  Fabulous!

Just Right by myssp

“Oh, how adorable!”  That was my reaction to this wonderful layout by myssp.  I love the soft pastels and the beautiful circular stitching, but those hearts!!!  So beautifully put together!  I really like the flower cluster and black empty frames behind the photo – they drew my eye right to the photo.  Everything about this layout is just right.  🙂

Lastly, I leave you with this simply beautiful layout.  That photo is amazing – I just want to lose myself in those gorgeous eyes.  It speaks volumes.  And that’s why I chose the layout – the photo tells the story, so it doesn’t really need a lot of other things distracting from it.  I love the simple elements and title that the designer chose; even the font for the date is perfect.  Beautifully done.

That’s it for today.  Happy scrapping!
