Happy New Year to you all. It’s definitely a pleasure to be back on the blog and have an opportunity to wander the galleries and choose just a few projects for your viewing pleasure. It’s Beatrice on the blog and here are my picks for today.

MOC9: Day 9 – Bokeh Effect by kristinkristin

The simple style initially drew me into this page. The bokeh is so pretty and does not distract.  The journaling was a fantastic read and was what confirmed this as a standout to me.

Glow Differently by Patty Anne

I’m a big fan of heritage pages. The deep hue of the background paper is so pretty and shows off the photos perfectly.  The vintage paper reminds me of wallpaper and the lace is a great background for the focal photo. I like the way the photo was duplicated so the face could be framed in the decorative frame.

Winter Gift Box by oscaralley

I’m a huge fan of this artist and find I almost always choose one of her hybrid projects if it’s recent enough for my post. She posted several in the last few days and I decided to showcase this one I especially like the way she photographs her projects; I know that can be a big part of the process. This box is delightful, and I like the shred she used as well as the ribbon and clothespin closure.

Lockdown Birthday by Applechick

This birthday page is not only super cute it’s colorful too. I’m really impressed by the various extractions and all the cute props used to decorate the scene. Placing her face inside the six and the “punny” theme of her party are so creative. I like the photo of the computer screen which tells me many of the guests had to attend virtually. What strange times.

January 2021 Playing with Perks Challenge by Tina1978

I know the season has passed but I couldn’t pass up this adorable page. I always like combination of small photos with the large blend, especially with the partial framing. The clusters are ideally placed, and the word art perfectly complements the theme of the page.

2021 – Week 2 by sterkeurs

I’m most familiar with the pocket style pages used for project life so this design really spoke to me. It’s so clean and appealing and really a great variation on the typical grid style. I can see this format being embellished or not and still looking great.

I’ve come to the end of my post so now it’s your turn to click through the links and leave these well-deserving artists some love. Thanks for reading along and I hope these projects have inspired you. Have a great week!
