Finger Pointing, January 13th

Hello all you gorgeous scrappers! Joanna (cutiejo1) on the GSO blog today to bring you a few standout pages from the galleries. I don’t know about where you live, but here in Metro Detroit, Michigan, US, we are having a bright and sunny day. Although it is winter and cold, the sunshine is a welcome addition to my day. Work Placement by Jill

This page really grabbed my attention in the gallery today. The placement and shadow work on the elements really elevate this page. The colors of the brushes and paint on the solid background really pop too. Last, the stitching on the outside really adds the perfect touch.

 

Winter Walk by Ozegirl

What a fun page this one is. I really like the double title and how it goes across and down the edges of the large photo (and also all over the background patterned paper.) The tight clusters are cute and sweet. The extraction is really well done too.

This one is fun and unique, very eye catching. The photo perspective and extraction really make this page. Also, the title with all those mixed fonts is perfect for this eclectic page.

This is such a delightful page. The frame and stitching on the outside acts as a beautiful frame for these cute black and white photos. The brush work and paint make for the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous layering and clustering.

 

Frosty Winter by Chaos Lounge

I couldn’t pass up this page in the gallery, such a stunner! Not only are those clusters glorious, but the mix of photo shapes and techniques is really very striking.

 

Find Your Inner Sparkle by alannabanana

Such a magical page! I love the swirly watercolor feel on the background paper. From that fabulous photo, gorgeous colors, sparkle and shine, everything about this page is just really adorable.
