Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I blogged here! I hope you’re all keeping well and safe during these still crazy times and that you are enjoying your Saturday, whatever you’re up to. I’ve been collating my Project Life and 2020 Year Book for printing and I can’t wait to press the order button but then I have to reign in my impatience while I wait for delivery! In the meantime, let’s look at some gems from the galleries today…

Opening up with a darling of a page is Blackkathy with Jessie. Gorgeous foliage and brush work form the base while the pretty pink elements adorn the sweet photo. I’ll be honest, this page took my breath away, it is so, so gorgeous!

I always love a good celebration page and moc 9 – january 21 – birthday challenge by Annsofie is a fine example. The explosive paint work gives such impact, making me think of those explosive strips of paper from party poppers. I love the colour mix while the vertical photo strip, bold word art and happy birthday sticker to the left, balance the page perfectly. So very striking!

How about moc9-22 by Anny-Libelle for a pop of colour?! A terrific design with a mix of blends and layers that add a whole lot of interest. I particularly love the word art heart – that is so cool! And there’s a beautiful message in the journaling too. Wonderful!

Oh man, can there be any more cuteness on one page?! I love the vertical strips of softly patterned paper and the torn edges on Littlest Scholar by Amy L. I’m also partial to photo clusters and I like that this one is anchored with the sweetest embellishments ever! Those journaling lines add to the “classroom” feel too. Totally adorable!

You Can See Magic by amyjcaz is a great compositional piece and the muted tones are beautifully soft. I love the unique cropping of the image, the element mix that cascades down the page and the border brushwork that finishes off the page so nicely. Love this!

Feel the Beat by Renate just makes me want to head for the dance floor! I have to admit that lockdown has seen me re-visit an old playlist of mine – all be it a decade earlier to this one but oh, the memories! I love the repetitive circles, the complimentary stickers and the playlist is fun! Grounded nicely by the title work, this could be a cover for a “Greatest Hits of the 80’s” album! Terrific!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my picks for today and that they inspire you to document a story or two of your own. When you have a spare moment, please click on the links above and leave a comment or two for the artists, I know they will appreciate it. Till next time, take care, stay safe and happy scrapping!
