Hey there everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend so far?

This week has been crazy at work and the galleries have been soothing my soul with all the gorgeousness from you talented scrappers in the galleries.

DraeScraps – Faniversary

There is a new set of templates out there that create this amazing shadowbox style and I am loving all the layouts using them that are out there. But this one, just made me so happy, all the bright colours and the Parrots tucked into the layers and the wonderful clusters. The wonderful touch of the bamboo background, evoking a tiki hut – awesome! The photo is wonderful and I agree it does look like heaven in a cup.

ScrappyHappy82 – Lucky

Loving the two photos here and the fact that the whole layout tones with them. The flow of the flowers, little paint splatter, just gorgeous. I love the piece of twine that seems to flow through all the flowers and anchors the word strip. But mainly, I am just really in love with the rich tones throughout this layout.

Cinderella – Rainy

I am a big fan of Cindy’s work, I particularly loved this page, as I love a rainy day, it does feel refreshing for my soul. The collage work here is just wonderful, all the layers over the rainy day photo, it feels so much like a physical art journal and it fully evokes the text of being good for the soul, as it is so bright and cheery. I love the large central cluster, the sprays of leaves, ribbon, and twine coming out of it are just lovely. Art journaling perfection.

crazycat1126 – Meh

This is just so clean, simple, and elegant. I’m a big lover of lots of clean space and the colour just POPS off of the page, drawing your eye to the photo. Amazing work by Cat here, I really love the text reminding us all that it’s okay to have a bad day, a reminder I could do with every now and again.

Shannon Maguire – Snowdrops

I love the masking here by Shannon, making me feel like the Snowdrops are bursting from the ground onto the page. And the use of a pink notepaper style paper is lovely, it adds a softness to the whole thing. I particularly love the trailing ribbon and HOORAY for Spring!

wombat146 – Captured

Another clean, simple and elegant layout that caught my eye. I love the textured grey background, which makes all the other little details stand-out. The use of paint/stamps is really nice and I love how everything tones with the gorgeous photo of the Spinebill.

I hope you love these featured pages as much as I do and find some time this weekend to show these talented scrappers some love.

Happy scrapping, I will see you all in April.

Claire x
