Happy Monday!
What a great start to the week – showcasing marvelous scrapbooking layouts posted throughout the weekend. The inspiration is phenomenal and gets me excited to create my very own treasures!
First up, October scraplift challenge by Annsofie
Ann-Sofie’s layout is a beautiful representation of Fall. The golden, red and green leaves against the bright blue sky are stunning. Ann-Sofie’s use of the photo inside frames and clipped to a mask with an added watercolor effect are nothing short of brilliant! Its these extra little touches that make this a GSO!
October Style Challenge 21 by Meterr
Terri is a pro at using vintage family photos in her layouts. Looking though her gallery is looking into the American past. Here, Terri’s vertical cascade of elements and brushes is a visual stunner. I adore the singular red heart and the endearing photo of her great-great-aunt. For these reason, Terri’s layout is a GSO in my book!
In the City by HeatherH
Holy smokes! HeatherH’s urban grunge layout is a visual smorgasbord. The large photo format turned greyscale blended with map papers and little pops of color grab my attention and invite me to look for additional details. Those details include the deeply shadowed clusters, the big, bold title, “LIFE,” and subtly placed and stamped “DREAM.” The contrasting graphic design + urban grunge + phenomenal clusters + color splashes = GSO!
bb by Marnel
Marnel created a gorgeous Art Journal styled layout. Her use of paints and paint splatter give such a grungy vibe to her layout but are expertly placed to draw attention to the center piece. The center piece reminds me of a caduceus, a popular medical symbol, and reinforces the AJ theme of beauty, power, and health. Mary created an AJ masterpiece, earning this layout a GSO!
Day 4 Leaves by Tedasgram
Here we have another large photo format with blending (I love this technique) + additional complementary photos that paint such a gorgeous, gorgeous picture of Autumn. The teal-sage background paper is a wonderful complement to and brings out the oranges in the photos and elements. Because I want to jump into this layout and enjoy camping at Algonquin Park, Day 4 Leaves earns a GSO from me!
Thank you for time! If you enjoy these layouts as much as I do, please stop by and leave some gallery love on each of them! The titles are hyperlinked for convenience.
Please have a wonderful, safe and enjoyable week!
