Finger Pointing – February 27th

Hi everyone!  Deborrah (a/k/a DivaMom96) here today with some absolutely GAWGOUS layouts from the galleries.  I’ve been doing a lot of art journaling lately, playing with colors, inks and doodling.  I haven’t done any paper scrapping or card making in YEARS and I’m enjoying myself immensely.  It really makes me appreciate the amazing things we can do on a computer even more.  So, sit back and let’s go on a layout journey.

Fly Away by AmandaJ

First up, feast your eyes on this beautiful page!  I love the paints and stenciling behind the photo.  The yellows she scattered around the page really pick up the color of the butterfly in the photo.  Great stamped title, too!   Fabulous layout!!

Lucky by myssp

I love the lattice work on this layout!!!  It grabbed my attention immediately.  I really like how the artist used the diamond shape around the page, from using the shape as paper frames, to the little child leaning on a diamond-shaped mirror in the photo!  Her cluster work is breathtaking!  Gorgeous layout!!

Inspiration by Mother Bear

This layout is simply amazing!  I love how she created her journal book, showing us the photos on three pages at once!  Her shadowing is fabulous and I love the paint bottle cluster at the bottom of the book.  So inspiring!!

Teenagers by iScrap

I laughed and laughed when I saw this page!  So, so true – the teenage years are a challenge to any parent, let alone the teenager herself! I love the photos she used and the faces the girls are making!  Her clustering is so perfect for this pocket page – my eye travels around the page so that I don’t miss anything.  LOVE!

Love YOU by RJMJ

I. LOVE. THIS. PAGE.  What an amazing job this artist did here.  I love the photo repetition, the flower clusters on the hat and how she mimicked them at various other spots on the page, the wonderful vines and branches giving even more movement, etc.  And, of course, the fabulous color palette, too!  It screams elegance and style!  Wonderful layout!

Finally, I bring you this amazing page.  Everything about the page is perfectly placed! I love the blended photo, the wonderful elements and the important journaling under the photo.  The artist even gives you some tips on how to create the page in her credits.  Fabulous!
