Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you have fun plans for the weekend or at least some scrapping time. I am in packing hell, as we are moving soon..

I hope everyone is ok, following Hurricane Ian, we are based in Tampa and it did not hit us as badly as we had first thought it would. The winds were pretty scary and we lost some branches and a fence, but all good aside from those small things.

bjthomas – Hey Fall

The only thing I miss about living in NYC and London is Autumn aka Fall. This page, with her cute converse, just really feels like Fall to me. I love that the papers pick up the colour of her converse and the cute pumpkins in the fun pastel shades are perfect here. LOVE the title work and the amazing shadows.

mcurtt – Love

I love Marilyn’s work, she is such a talented and versatile scrapper. If this was my wedding photo I would be framing this page! I love everything about it. The vellum overlay and the grids are very creative and frame the photo so well. The little cluster at the top is perfect, the soft colours evoking romance for me.

Dady – Love This

I am a big fan of monochrome pages and this is so wonderful. It is super soft and clean, just like the adorable photo – I always think of babies feet as being soft and clean. The brushwork at the top and the bottom of the photo is really well done and I especially like the tinest pop of colour in the flowers.

Cfile – Fall

One of the comments on this page in the gallery said ‘I feel like I can touch this’. That is 100% true and is exactly how I feel. Christa’s shadow work is always amazing, but this feels like a master class. The partial extraction is amazing and I just can’t stop looking at it. The little sequin scatters and the splattered paint are the perfect finishing touches. It’s also a wonderful use of a frame, really drawing you in.

KarenJB – Love This

Karen always has the most awesome photos of her family and her life. Her clean layouts are always an inspiration to me. I love the layers here and the cascading title is a lot of fun. The big cluster is gorgeous and I love that it’s holding a piece of wordart.

Allison Pennington – Scary Squid

I LOL at the title of this page when I realised that the Scary Squid is actually Allison’s cute kitty. This page is just perfect, with the little pop of colour from those fabulous alphas! All the black elements compliment the photo of Squid and it’s just a really clean and elegant page.

I hope you enjoyed my picks today and will go and show these talented scrappers some love. Have a wonderful weekend, I will see you again towards the end of the month.. by then I will be unpacking!
