So here we are, already in the second month of 2023. Anyone have any scrapping goals this year? I’m working super hard to tie up my 2022 books for printing, thereafter, given that I’m more of a present day scrapper, my aim is to try to keep up a bit more. I have high hopes but we’ll see how I go!

As always, the galleries are brimming with inspiration … here’s some gorgeous pieces I found today.

Kicking off quite literally with Find Your Wings by Marleen, this page is such an eye catcher, it’s hard to miss it in the gallery. I love the drama, the composition and the sheer elegance. A fine piece of art!

I always enjoy pages that tell the story of an artists world outside of scrapbooking and Book of the Month by Amy L gives an insight into what’s been keeping her busy in her free time! I love the bookshelf effect and the list is brilliant – especially if you’re anything like me and forget what you’ve read! Such a peaceful, feel-good page!

Gorgeous tones and pops of colour make up Passion for Life by jakrn with the subjects’ eyes drawing me in, making me want to know more! A terrific background, super blending and a pretty floral cluster add to the intrigue of this page. Beautifully done!

In My Dreams by Applechick is a beautiful heritage page. I love the graphic placement of elements and the string of embellishments is so, so pretty. The circular framing of the photograph reminds me of a locket and the journaling is a delightful read! So precious!

An eye candy of a page is Hello Jocelyn by Blackkathy. Light brown painted detail makes this page beautifully soft while the deep blue tones add the perfect punch. A beautifully designed page with amazing shadows –  all in all, a stunning piece of work!

Large photo’s on a page are always a winner, even better is Okahumpka Park Walk by lynnpremo with the large image blended nicely to provide the backdrop for the rest of the page. Great title work and the stitched framing finish this page off perfectly. Wonderful!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my picks from the galleries today and that they inspire you to create a page or two of your own. When you get a chance, please click on the links above and leave a comment or two for the artists, they will appreciate it. Till next time, take care and happy scrapping!
