Finger Pointing – January 17th

I had a memory pop up on social media today … on this day in 2016, I joined the GSO team as a guest blogger! That’s a whole 7 years I’ve been sharing some outstanding work that has captured my attention in the digital scrapbooking world, on average twice a month. It has been and still is an honour to be here still and I send my personal thanks to anyone who has taken the time to check out even just one of my posts. So without further rambling, let’s take a look at some eye candy I’ve found for you today.

First up is Library Lists, Currently by glee. As a lover of lists, this is such a fun layout and the level of detail is amazing. Beautifully framed and embellished, this is such an interesting page!

I’ve not done a “big photo” page for a while but MOC9 by catgoddess inspires me to do just that. A cracking shot that is balanced perfectly by the pretty clusters top left and bottom right make this page a real delight!

I love the unusual design of Waiting with Friends by ninigoesdigi. Both the geometric aspects and the sunrise colour palette attract attention while the stitching and roughed up backdrop add great texture. Wonderful!

The ornate frames adorn the sweet black and white image beautifully on 3 Years Old by bbe, creating a wonderful sense of depth to the overall page. All these wonderful details aside, it’s the journaling that does it for me… it will be a treasure for future generations to look back… just priceless!

Time Treasures by Dorci is a gorgeous mix of blended and framed images, nicely laid out and interspersed with journaling. Beautiful natural tones shine bright and I love the calendar and clock detail. A stunning multi image page!

Gold and Black by jcaruth910 is a smashing example of the old adage “less is more”. Minimal embellishments anchor the masked image and of course, it goes without saying that I love the white space! So beautiful!
