Finger Pointing – May 11th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

A better place by chigirl

On this first page, the harmony between the theme of the kit and the photo is perfect. The mix of patterned papers is well done and the play of pockets gives a dimension to the whole that makes it very realistic.

2003 Cover Page by jam-on-toast

This album cover is very successful. The subtly decorated outline gives way to a central sewn grid to indicate the date. It makes you want to discover more about this album.

———————————————–

Famille by ninigoesdigi

Family photos always have a very sentimental value. The photo processing is very well done and the colour harmony is perfect. The whole remains clean despite the pile of papers. The elements are small and very well placed.

———————————————–

nostalgic by sylvia

The colours of this 4th page make the design quite vintage. The shadows are very well done and the stamp frames are very nice. They also bring a little vintage touch.

———————————————–

silly siblings by jnac916

When you want to take a photo of your children, you always ask them to hold on tight and pose for the shot. However, this is often not the case and we end up with some pretty funny photos. The colours and the drawn elements add a childlike and silly.

rock-n-roll-jen-yurko by zanthia

I end my selection with a little note of madness with this page on the theme of rock and this contrast between pink and black. The extraction is great and reinforces the rock side with the wings in the background.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself πŸ˜‰

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

BYOC CHALLENGE by Trish

The design of this page is super original with this string on which the photos and some elements are hung. The fading is very well done and the whole remains readable despite the multitude of elements.

j’aime Γͺtre dans les bois by myla

The blending and the out of border of this picture is just amazing. The triangle shape is very original. This is a very original and creative page.

———————————————–

Hope All in One by Natali Designs by pacina

The colours on this page smell of summer and lightness. The elements blend in well with the background paper and the black ribbon adds contrast and depth.

———————————————–

This is us by extase

The photo treatment of this page is magical, it has something vintage and very realistic just like the rest of the composition. The shadow work is well balanced with the light colours of the kit.

Lynn Grieveson Design Challenge April 2021 by ad77

The design of this page catches the eye right away. All elements are in extreme corners and the middle of the page is empty and even white. The elements are very well placed and the shadows are well done, which gives the impression that all the little branches are real. It’s quite impressive.

This last page has a certain class and elegance thanks to the colours chosen but also thanks to the dark background. The rounded corners add softness.

Finger Pointing – April 6th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

Playing with Yaya’s Toys by mocamom

This first page is very interesting because of its clean look with the white paper and all the colourful touches of the photos and elements chosen. It brings joy and cheerfulness to the whole.

———————————————–

Today by caapmun

The second page is very smooth with the chosen colour combo and the angle from which the photo is taken. The photo processing is very successful and gives a vintage feel. A nice souvenir.

———————————————–

Say cheese by angels

The third project is a hybrid project. I’m not a designer, but when I see a project like this I think wow, this is physical, this is real. It’s not just digital on my screen. I find the little wheel that straddles the two pages very creative and the use of the word bits is great.

———————————————–

Place of Interest… by Marleen

A picture within a picture, that’s something I like very much but that I succeed and do very rarely. You have to have the right images. And on this project, it’s really very successful. It could be framed.

OAWA-ASweetEggscape.jpg by sharonb

The childlike, vintage feel of this Easter-themed page is very cute. The cluster is very successful and it would have made a nice card to send during the Easter celebration.

———————————————–

Blooming Lovely by beaute

I end this selection with this pretty scenic page where we find all the codes of spring: happy colours, birds, flowers, eggs, drops of water. Enough to make you dream for a while…

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

Monthly Muse March Week 2 by Cherylndesigns

This first page really caught my eye because of its original shape: a unicorn silhouette. The mix of paper and paint is very successful and gives even more magic to this fairy animal.

———————————————–

Moments like this by AnnePC

This second page shows that even a very clean design can be played with patterned papers. The set is very harmonious and the colours of the kit and the photo match very well.

———————————————–

Simplette_TheOtherSideOfTheLens_page1.jpg by Simplette

On this third page, the choice of colours of the kit and the black and white of the photo are just perfect to give a little vintage feel to the page. It emanates from the tenderness of the photo which is found in the gorgeous cluster.

———————————————–

Welcome Little One – TN Cover by cestlafranz

The fourth project is a notebook cover. The softness of the colours and the choice of the kit suggests that inside there will be many moments of tenderness.

———————————————–

I love butterflies by nightshadow

The fifth page shows a nice photo taken in macro mode. This butterfly is beautiful (I really like butterflies). The background colours of the photo blend very well with the choice of artsy style paper.

———————————————–

back to lowes by MommaTrish

This last page with the horizontal design may look quite classic with the square pieces of paper, but as they are glued a bit crooked (I mean they are not parallel to the edges of the page), it gives a rather modern look and movement. It’s very creative.

Finger Pointing – February 2nd

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

Rachel Jefferies February Challenge by Annsofie

This first page exudes a lot of love. From the photo of course, but also from the colours, the words, the quotation. Every tiny detail reminds us of the small attentions that can be made in a couple.

———————————————–

15A by marnel

What a lovely birthday memory. The colour combo is very soft and this balloon cut is just great. The shadows are very well worked. The contrast between the blue combo and the black and white photos is perfect.

———————————————–

This year… by Saar

After the blue combo, the white combo. It’s quite difficult to make a page in the same tones, especially white. You have to adjust the shadows well so that they bring out the elements and keep the spirit of white. The exercise is very successful on this page and the background work is great.

———————————————–

What Love Looks Like by SarahShades

In this fourth page, the theme of love is still present with a soft colour combo. The use of empty space allows our eye to focus on the photo and the tenderness that emanates from it.

———————————————–

Junk Journal Challenge heart booklet by Oldenmeade

This fifth page that is hybrid caught my eye with these colours that give a vintage look to the layout. The heart cut-outs and superimpositions are very successful. A nice notebook in the making…

———————————————–

Wild child by angels

This last page is very contrasted and that is what makes it interesting. The colours are rather soft and they make a great contrast with the energy that comes out of the photos. The shadows are very well worked which gives a nice volume to the cluster.

Finger Pointing – January 25th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

This by IntenseMagic

The composition of this first page is very captivating. The arrangement at the ends attracts the eye at every corner of the page and the complementarity of the colours gives energy. In addition to this, the tiny elements are very well placed.

———————————————–

Simple Joys by Kat

It is often said that less is more. Well this is the case for this second page. A photo, a piece of patterned paper, a few stains of paint and you’re done. That’s all it takes to make a nice C&S page.

———————————————–

NotAllGood by armygirl

The next page brings out something that I can’t quite describe. From a technical point of view, everything is perfect. The photo embedded in the background paper and the vertical composition are really good. And the expression of the look on the photo is very intense.

———————————————–

Calm by EHStudios

The fourth page awakens the eyes. The fresh colours with the contrast of the black and white photo are great. The background with the different stamps is really good.

———————————————–

jpA_Dear Me by justpattyanne

I find that pages without photos are perfect for conveying messages. And this fifth page is proof of that. A little message to yourself feels good. The silhouette bottom with the artsy side go very well together.

———————————————–

Let’s stay cozy by Sabyne

I end my selection of the day with this page, very soft because of the colours and all the little words. The work on the background paper is very nicel.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself πŸ˜‰

Finger Pointing – January 14th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

It’s my first post of this new year. I wish you a Happy New for you and your family. I wish you a wonderful creative year.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

So here are my picks for today :

MOC9-day-12-diary by Bec

This first page represents a digital diary. The details are numerous and very well placed. The shadows are also well worked out which gives the impression that this diary is on the table in front of me. This is really impressive.

———————————————–

January 2021 Passport to Hope: Square 16 Pop Culture by jaye

The minimalist palette of this page gives it a special dimension especially with this black and gold. It is very elegant yet festive. A nice way to start the new year.

———————————————–

Looking for snow by veer

The next project takes us to a completely different world: to the snow. The photos are beautiful and the design is very well chosen to show a multitude of shots. The few artsy elements give the impression that a bit of snow has just been put on the photos. Very creative.

———————————————–

Snow day by ninigoesdigi

We stay in the snow with this fourth page. Because yes, we also have to clear the roads of snow. And these photos of everyday life are really good to remember this moment which can be rare depending on where you live. What jumps out at you afterwards is the harmony of the colours. To succeed in associating the colours of the papers and elements with the colour of the trousers is great.

———————————————–

A Year to Erase by Ana Santos

This fifth page attempts to close the chapter of the year 2020 which has been very special for everyone. The photo treatment is really well done and these two people holding hands is a message of hope for the future.

———————————————–

Rain rain by Cindy Taylor

The work on the title of this last page is really successful. The mixture of the words sticker and stamp is very successful and the message is accentuated by the use of the sewing elements.
