Finger Pointing – December 1st

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I hope you enjoyed your Black Friday and your Cyber Monday. Today is a special day, it’s December 1st. Like a child I’m very excited because Christmas is coming and its magic. And we need that this year… Maybe, some of you will have a little elf at home.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

And today, I wanted some Christmas magic in the pages digital and hybrid.

So here are my picks for today :

Finger Pointing – November 17th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Love, Love, Love by Dady

This first page is of a very high level of technicality: the blending and pencil-like photo processing is perfect. The harmony of the colours is perfect too and the subtle work of the paints keeps this page quite clean in the end.

———————————————–

Making new memories by Fany Fanette

For a few days now, the Christmas spirit has begun to appear in the kits and therefore in the pages. This page has a very creative design with its tree shape. The shadow work is very successful.

———————————————–

Autumn Specialties… by marleen

This third page would be perfect to go in a frame. The photo processing and the fading are very successful. Everything is subtly well placed but with lots of small details. A nice autumn decoration.

———————————————–

Fall Memories by Shannel Tamara

Autumn is often associated with cocooning and calm, but it is also the season when nature is full of beautiful colours as on this fourth page. The clusters and colours are really reminiscent of the colours of the trees.

Simplette_AStoryOfAutumn by carolwenxin

This fifth page is still full of colour. This page is very bright and the cluster of flowers gives the whole thing a really airy feel.

DYD 2020 Cover by Mama Shades

To conclude this selection, I found this nice December album cover. December is a really special period and this year even more… But that must not prevent us from putting a little magic in our scrapbook.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – October 12th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Awakened by Beth

I start my selection with this pretty page with incredible photo processing. The butterfly is perfectly melted into the paper and the message is beautiful. The page is very harmonious.

———————————————–

October fun by Mother Bear

The next page is very seasonal (in the northern hemisphere). The bright colours stand out very well against the contrast of the background paper. The tiny elements are well placed.

———————————————–

October 2020 Challenge – FLY by nightshadow

The third page is in a completely different style but also has a different effect. Labels, stamps and messages are a simple and effective recipe for a page of art journaling.

———————————————–

Graceful Swans by jaye

Combining mixed media with a graceful photo is the challenge that the scrapper on the next page has taken up. The design, which is clean enough in the end for the style, makes this page as harmonious and elegant as this swan.

———————————————–

One of a Kind by RoxanaTc

The design of this page is very successful and goes well with the theme of the photo and the collection. The masculine side is accentuated with the choice of colours and the vertical design.

———————————————–

Grateful {Inspired by Lori} by MrsPeel

After a rather clean selection, I couldn’t resist this page with its messy background. The collage of the different papers is just amazing. The touches of colour add depth to the design and the message is just beautiful. Note also the nice work on the title with this coloured alpha.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – October 7th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Too cute too spook by Dady

This first page caught my eye because of its very graphic design and the photo right in the middle of all these squares. The alternation of grey and orange brings the eye directly to the middle of the page. And the journaling all around brings a little touch of elegance.

———————————————–

Hannah and John Hiking by FormbyGirl

This second page exudes a lot of joie de vivre. The shooting angle is great and the fade in with the background paper is very successful. The clusters in the corners give volume.

———————————————–

07_27_19 by LaurieZyskin

The pages of type project life have this particularity to allow to use several photos and to have a rather clean side. They really tell us a story. The rounded corners of the cards and photos bring a little roundness to this very graphic design as well as the small turned card.

———————————————–

Beauty by zotova

Black is always a rather difficult colour to use for a background paper. We are afraid that it brings a dark side and this page proves us the opposite. This page is really very bright and bears its name of beauty and the message is very interesting.

———————————————–

You_Me4 by emjaytee

This fourth page shows how different patterned papers can be arranged. The harmony of the colours brings out the harmony and love that emanates from this couple.

———————————————–

Sabyne Bellisae Big Girls 600 by Sabyne

The photo treatment of this last page is really successful as well as the fading. The combination of the elements on the left side is quite busy which counterbalances the large photo on the right side. And the message this page delivers is just great.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – September 28th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Cookies by dotcomkari

I start my selection with a gourmet page. The small elements and the artsy side are a perfect reminder of the disorganization of the kitchen table in the middle of preparing a recipe. The photos with the polaroid frame are really great.

———————————————–

the goodest boy by amandaresende

The second page is pure cuteness. The framing of the photo is great and the clean side of the design allows you to really focus on the photo. The paintings and stitching bring a little grunge side to give a male feeling to the whole.

———————————————–

OrdinaryLife by armygirl

One of the main goals of scrapbooking is to sublimate photos, but when you have a beautiful photo like the one on this third page, you don’t need a lot of elements: a little background paper, a little label, a little text and that’s it.

———————————————–

Anna Lift – Live your life in your way… by marleen

This fourth page is in a different register. It is without photo and thus allows to highlight papers. The papers may be artsy and quite loaded, but the whole remains clean because of the grid design and the large white space. A nice page that deserves to be in a frame.

———————————————–

Indian Summer by apottinger

I remain in the grids with this fifth page which is a pocket page. It reminds us that autumn is slowly coming. The cluster at the bottom of the page makes it possible to add volume but does not overload the page.

———————————————–

Nature speaks by msbrad

The last project is quite technical since part of the photo has been transformed into a drawing. The effect is very successful and also allows to focus the eye on this church.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – September 8th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Monthly Muse September 2020 – Week2 – Smile by Claire Grantham

And here is my first pick : an amazing paper collage work and painting set. Don’t forget the very original photo treatment which brings grain to the composition. A very nice page from Mixed Media.

———————————————–

Take Note by wombat146

This second page is a page without a photo but with a huge amount of technical work. The shadow of the butterfly is very nice and it gives the impression that the butterfly will fly away from the leaf. The overall lighting of the page is also very well done and the message on the small card is great.

———————————————–

Diabetic by WiredLady

On this third page, the harmony of the colours makes it possible to forget a little bit the not very funny theme of diabetes. The use of paints and background paper are very successful.

———————————————–

Keep Believing by Jeannette

The photo treatment on this fourth page is very beautiful. The paintings and the fading give the impression that the whole thing is one. The idea of the small photo as a reminder is very creative. The words of art, which are also inlaid in the background, deliver a nice message.

———————————————–

September Stories by Ann-Sofie

The fifth project is a hybrid project. The horizontal design and the circles form a beautiful harmony and amplify the smiles in the photos.

———————————————–

Rain Of Love by Grażyna Wrzask

The photo treatment of this last page gives a result halfway between the photo and the drawing. The use of watercolour paints accentuates the fading of the photo. And the pretty words of art give an airy side to the whole.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Poiting – August 11th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

butterfly by Keela

This first page caught my eye with this pretty butterfly ready to fly away before my eyes. The background work is great and the choice of the photo is very judicious since the butterfly reminds me of the photo.

———————————————–

Bikes are for life by Justagirl

This second page is digital scrapbook. The shadow work is really fantastic. The use of the stamps is just perfect as well as the frame of the photo which leaves a little room for a small cluster.

———————————————–

QS by marnel

What a nice job with the alphas on this page. The contrast between black/white and yellow gives a masculine look to this layout. The little labels are great for a few lines of journaling to document the moment.

———————————————–

Lughnasadh by alannabanana

This fourth page offers us a nice bouquet of summer flowers. The work of the shadows is very successful and the little poppy girl brings a childish note to the whole.

———————————————–

August 2020 I wish Challenge by Tina1978

This fifth page is very creative in its composition. The small labels are very well placed and highlighted by the arrows and the paintings.

———————————————–

Excavacor by Amberleigh

This fifth page is very graphic with its grid design and lines. The small stamps break a little bit this straight side and allow to highlight the pictures.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉
