Finger Poiting – August 1st

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

meh! by keepscrappin

I’ll start with this page whose picture tells it all. The feeling of laziness is reinforced with the words art. But what jumped out at me was the artsy side and the harmony of the colors.

Passport Ch. 11 by sharonbertol

I’ll see the second page in a frame in a house by the sea. It’s a beautiful painting. All the details of the seaside theme are there.

———————————————–

Delice Beach by reginafalango

The next page is a real success in the play of blending modes. You don’t know where an element starts and where it ends. It doesn’t matter since the whole page transports us to the beach through the theme and to a fairy-tale world through the colors.

Summer by Dids

In scrapbooking, we can have fun in many ways; but the primary purpose of scrapbooking, whether digital or paper, is to showcase photos. And this page won’t do the opposite for me. Macro photography is really very successful. We can see all the details of this dragonfly. A few small elements of paint to bring texture to the whole and that’s it. Bravo the photographer!

———————————————–

Outdoor Adventure by Ann-Sofie

The next project is really beautiful. The travel notebook format is really great for documenting walks or a trip. The chosen kit is perfect for photos and this kind of project allows you to have fun by putting tiny details that make the difference.

Gulf-Fishin by Scraptious

This last page will hopefully take you on a journey as suggested by the photo as well as the design. The cluster is really amazing. And now I only want to get on the boat and visit this lighthouse. Thank you for this invitation to travel.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – July 29th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Sunsets by tania

This first page appealed to me because of its design with stacked photos. It’s really very clever. The shadows and paints on the background paper match very well with the colours of the photos. And the idea of taking a picture of someone taking a picture, it’s super fun!

———————————————–

knowledge by Sylvia

The next page is all about subtlety. The photo is perfectly blended with the paper. The monochrome design with the few tiny coloured elements are even more eye-catching. A page that looks very simple but with a lot of technique.

———————————————–

Rocky Beach Right by Txcorey

The next page is a big breath of fresh air. Look at these pictures ! The light is just beautiful and the colors are amazing. A great holiday album page. The colors of the kit are perfect with the photos and a nice cluster adds depth to the design.

A Quite Place… by Marleen

A piece of art, the fourth page is really stunning. The details of the butterfly are impressive and the background work to give it depth is perfect. Here is a page I would like to frame and display in my living room. The word art is also very well chosen because when you look at this page it is really a quiet place.

RACHEL ETROG DESIGNS | July 2020 challenge by ClaireG

This fifth page is well thought out. Everything about the coffee theme: the photos, the kit and the design reminds you of stains. The harmony of the colours is perfect.

———————————————–

Happy Days by Glori2

And to finish this selection, I propose you this little cat who goes to follow a little butterfly. This picture is full of softness that you can find in the choice of colors, the fade with the frame, the background paper. And a nice embellishment to recall the colors of the butterfly.

I hope you like my picks. I wish you a great scrapping day and take care of yourself 😉

Finger Pointing – July 15th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Red Rocks by LynnG

Travel albums always fascinate me. I don’t have the chance to travel so when scrapbookers share theirs it’s my way of travelling. And to enhance the photos, you don’t need a lot, a good design, a few frames and one or two elements. And that’s all there is to it. A real pleasure for the eyes.

———————————————–

The Impossible Dream by KAPOH

The meeting of reality and drawing is just perfect on this ATC. The hand drawings are very well done and above all go marvelously with this picture. The quotation is great as well as the typography work.

———————————————–

Fight by wisdomes

This page jumped out at me when I was browsing the gallery. The photo processing and extraction is just perfect. The small words and the use of only one color make the message even stronger.

———————————————–

Solitude by Danesa

A bit of calm and serenity, that feels good. This page invites us to relax. The photo treatment is very successful since the colors of the photo blend with the colors of the kit used. We feel like we’re leaving…

———————————————–

Think Positive by akizo

One more page with a strong message. And this time, the page is very colorful. The design, the colors and the smile of the little girl give pep and energy.

July 2020 – Theme Challenge by Tina1978

On this last page, it looks like the brushes are going to come out of the screen. The shadow work is very successful.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Happiness by Thuria

The work of this first is just awesome. Mixing paint, stacked papers, everything that characterizes scrap paper is represented in this page. To this, we add a fun photo and the result is very captivating.

June2020 NGD Challenge by CathQuillScrap

Every detail is important on this second page. First of all the background paper with the planisphere that invites to travel. Then all the elements are judiciously placed. The interplay of cut-out papers and paintings add depth to the whole.

butterfly by timounette

This third page forces us to take a break and observe one of the wonders of nature: a butterfly on a flower. The photo treatment is magnificent and the work with the different fonts is very interesting.

Currently Reading by Sweetsaholic

So much work on this fourth page. So many stacked elements ! The shadow work is perfect and it makes the page so real. The “currently” pages are ideal to pause in the present moment.

———————————————–

Besties by cinderella

This penultimate page breathes life with this lovely dog picture. Beyond the background work with all the colors, there is also a nice overlay work with all the small papers and labels stacked under the photo. The well worked shadows and the angle of view of the photo bring even more volume to the design.

———————————————–

Cherish the Moment by cfile

This last page is a little beauty with this nice picture of a flower but also a little beauty of technique with a very mastered fade.

And I will finish by recalling the title of the last page “Cherish the moment”, enjoy every moment and take care of yourself.

I hope you like my picks and wish you a great scrapping day 😉

Finger Pointing – June 10th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today.

I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties. Here are my picks for today :

Yes, girl ! by Ana Santos

This first page catches the eye instantly with its clean side and above all its extraordinary photo processing. We don’t really know anymore if the image is a photo that has undergone a post-processing or if it is a painting because the rendering is so impressive. A wonderful work of texture has also been done which brings matter to the page.

———————————————–

Color Challenge – Bright Colors by Marleen

This second page also presents a nice work of texture. Everything blends, everything binds together but with a lot of elegance and softness. A real pleasure for the eyes.

———————————————–

2020-0528-sewing-box900 by ninigoesdigi

The next page is much more graphic with a sewing grid which is the theme of the photos. The chosen kit is perfect for this series of photos and we can only wish for nice sewing projects with this pretty box.

———————————————–

Stay positive by EmStafrace

This 4th page is also a real eye-opener. The technical work is just wonderful, the shadows are well worked and the cluster is overflowing with generosity. There is a positive feeling thanks to the bright colors and the little message on the little tag.

Just a Snoozin In the Sunshine by dotcomkari

This penultimate page breathes life with this lovely dog picture. Beyond the background work with all the colors, there is also a nice overlay work with all the small papers and labels stacked under the photo. The well worked shadows and the angle of view of the photo bring even more volume to the design.

This is now by Dady

This last page leaves room for the photo since it covers a large part of the page background. The photo treatment is stunning and it looks like a real painting. The small notes of color with the paintings and the small cluster bring a little pep. A beautiful page that invites you to escape…

Finger Pointing – May 20th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today. I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

Here are my picks for today :

Step by Step by Dady

This first page is eye-catching thanks to its monochrome background and the small touches of colour doodled in. The shadows of the small labels are look real.

Feeling blue by wombat146

The blue feeling stands out very well on this page with the title, the colors, the photo and its treatment. Everything is judiciously placed to give a lot of character to the page.

These little moments by Ann-Sofie

This format is a bit different from the traditional square page. The traveler’s notebook format is perfect for clean pages with one page made of patterned paper and a photo on the other page. It’s a nice way to document memories. And the paper stips with the stitches are a nice touch.

Hello May by beaute

The picture treatment and the frame inlay are fantastic on this page. The colours of the photo blend very well with the chosen embellishments.

The Winfs of Change by ~cheryl~

This photoless is amazing. The paint work is perfect and the house designs fit together very well. A very nice page that could turn into a poster.

over the rainbow by nia

This last page, also photoless, is just stunning. The shadow of the butterfly is very well done and the texture brought in transforms this scrapbook page into a work of art.

Finger Pointing – May 6th

Hello everyone ! Gaelle is here for a new Gallery Standouts post today. I love browsing galleries to find some inspiration and beauties.

Here are my picks for today, all the pages I’ve picked are photoless :

JPA_Turn Your Pain into Power by justPattyAnne

On this first page, the message sent by this woman is very strong and it could be a motto especially in these times. The color harmony is nice and all the doodled details are so well placed.

Then & Now by Danesa

This page breathes serenity thanks to its message but also by the choice of color. The shadow work and the title are amazing.

Little Butterfly Wings by Mcurtt

This third page summarizes very well what many of us would like to do from time to time: do nothing and just take the time. The colourful side with the house brings a note of joy to this page.

Wings to fly by cinderella

A very colorful page with an even stronger message. It is said that a picture is better than a long speech, but pages without pictures are also a way to get a strong message across, as this page shows.

America will rise unafraid by misslovescraps

This fourth page could be a table. The texture work on the background is really incredible. The general shadow gives volume and a feeling of reality.

vrobinson-unfinished-woman-maybingo by scrapinmom

This selection ends with this page full of delicacy especially thanks to the colors and the design rather clean but full of small discreet details.
