Finger Pointing – October 14th

Hey everyone,

Hope you are having a nice October so far.

I’ve been very busy, but I really enjoyed DSD at the start of the month.

I had fun tonight looking through the galleries.

Thuria – Let’s Go

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the composition with everything at the top of the page, cascading down. I really love her choice of background paper; it really makes all the fabulous layers pop.

fruitysuet – Golden

Golden is the correct title for this beautiful, glowing page. I love how it flows from top to bottom and the mix of elements, flowers, and word strips.

lencik_vredniy – October

The lace in the background caught my eye; it’s such a delicate and unusual detail. I love the pretty cluster she has created, and the way that the photo is nestled into it.

lpieters1 – Learning How to Fly

I love her happy photo. The monochrome works so well here, the framing of the photo is perfect, and I love all the little details. The word art really reinforces the message of ‘learning to fly’.

purple_colourz – Happy Girls

What a happy photo! I love it and I love that the colours in the layout tone so well with their sweaters. I am a big fan of pattern mixing, and it’s done so well here.

AmaneseFe – Fall Perspective

The angle of her photo is perfection! I can’t believe the beautiful clusters she has created here; they are so full, and the shadows are amazing. Great use of the paper strips anchoring the central clusters.

Please go and show these talented scrappers some love, and I’ll see you over the weekend.

Hey there, creative souls!

I hope your day’s going as beautifully as the pages I’m featuring today. I’ve been browsing through some of our favorite digital scrapbook galleries, and wow, I wish I could pull off as many stunning pages as I’ve seen! There’s just so much talent and creativity out there.

Let’s take a little scroll through these pieces of inspiration, you might just find your next layout idea here! These pages are full of heart, color, and creativity, a perfect reminder of why we love this hobby so much.

This is Beth, a.k.a. kewl_jive, bringing you today’s standouts.

Broken by Biancka
I absolutely love her freestyle approach here, it’s raw, emotional, and beautifully expressive. The neutral palette paired with those grungy, layered textures pulls you right into the mood of the page. Every scribble, every torn edge feels intentional, like fragments of a story being quietly told. The balance of texture, scattered text, and soft chaos is just perfection. You can feel the emotion through every detail. Stunning work!

Such a vibrant and uplifting piece! The bold brushstrokes and pops of color bring so much life and movement to the page. I love how the calm portrait contrasts against the expressive, painted background , it feels confident and full of energy. The floral cluster adds the perfect soft touch, creating harmony between strength and grace. This layout truly radiates positivity and creative spirit!
Gorgeously done!

Autumn is here by bcazzell
So simple yet so elegant! I adore the soft neutral background that lets the warm fall tones shine through those burnt oranges, golden leaves, and subtle textures are just perfect. The perfect shadows on the circular twig frame gives it that cozy, organic feel, while the little photo adds such a personal touch.  It’s minimal, seasonal, and full of warmth, the perfect nod to autumn’s quiet beauty. Great job!

A Woodland Tale by Mary-11
This page just makes me smile! The cheerful mix of oranges, pinks, and blues brings such playful energy. I love how the circular design frames the photo perfectly, while the little details – flowers, leaves, and those adorable bees , make it feel so alive. The text strips add the sweetest reminder to keep looking for life’s glimmers. Such a happy, heartwarming page! Great composition.

Pure rustic beauty! I love how the cracked paint background adds such authentic texture, it feels vintage yet full of life. The layered frames and floral touches bring so much warmth and personality, perfectly matching the sweet photo. And can we talk about that pop of pink on the halter? So cute! I adore how this page celebrates progress and care, it’s heartfelt storytelling at its best. Love the doillies added here. Amazingly done!

This Project Life spread is pure storytelling magic! The balance of photos, journaling, and embellishments brings everyday moments to life. I love the cozy autumn palette — those pops of orange and teal give it so much character. The journaling feels genuine and relatable, turning small, ordinary details into something worth remembering. A perfect reminder that life’s best stories often unfold in the little moments. Great composition!

Don’t forget to leave some well-deserved love in their galleries!

I hope you enjoyed my picks, see you next month! Someone’s cooking up a birthday surprise, and I’m absolutely head over heels about it!

Cheers!

Fingerpointing October 12, 2025

This is my first ever post with GSO. I am bjc at The LilyPad. I have been honored to be featured here in the past and honored to be asked to be part of Gallery Standouts. I look forward to getting to browse multiple galleries and seeing the beautiful layouts you create. Here are a few of the beauties for today. Please try and leave these artists some love.

So this is 48 by AngieKey

I love a layout with a beautiful blended photo. The embellishments and little snippets of word art are perfect. Great journaling of life at 48 years young.

Jumelles by Tativero

Another beautiful blended photo with such pretty embellishments. Really caught my eye seeing these two large portraits and the leaves and flowers. The journaling is inspirational. I don’t know if these are the same girl/women, sisters or friends but it really made me take a look.

Aubergine Dusk by Chunlin Design

The colors and the design really drew me in. Love the use of so many embellishments on the top and then the white space and the repetition on the bottom of the page. The paint behind all the embellishments really ties them all together.

On My Shelf by Daily Dwelling Scraps

The white space really draws your eye to the center bookshelf photo. The lovely embellishments add to the design. The staggered journaling is just perfect with this photo and layout

Grandmother Fay by Garrynkim

I am always interested in Heritage layouts. I have a lot of old family photos and try to scrap them. It’s very important imho that we preserve these memories and have them for our families. The old-fashioned frame and embellishments are just right for a heritage layout. I love all the journaling to tell the story.

Inspiration Challenge by .alesen.

The backround paper works so perfectly for this white space page with small photo and the embellishments. The paper even has a butterfly just like one of the embellishments. Love the bw paper with the photo, the touches of greens and yellows. The word art is just right for that little photo of the little bit of nature

Thanks so much for looking and hope you find some inspiration and can leave some love for these scrapbook artists.
