Finger Pointing – July 8th

Hello everyone, Chantal here with today’s beautiful standouts!

Again I found some really inspiring ones and I hope you like them as much as I do! Here they are:

First a beauty from Janet1949. It’s called Hervey Bay Pier No 2. So there is a No 1 too. Nini fingerpointed that one almost a week ago. But I love the second one so much that it has to be finger pointed too! I love the different photos. All photos are from a different angle and they have different colors in it. But it isn’t messy at all! Love that. The blending is perfect and she didn’t add unnecessary elements. It’s complete!

Another woman who understands that you don’t (always) have to use many elements to make a great page, is Miss K. She made Sweet Summer. You find a lot of beach layouts in the galleries but this one is different! I love the sand color of the background and the bold colored elements, which are popping out. The placing of the elements is well-chosen and do you see those beautiful shadows?! This is an absolute beauty!

And I have another white space layout for you. When I was looking in the galleries this layout,  from Blackkathy, was winking at me all the time. I couldn’t resist those beautiful eyes. The layout is called Tenderness, and yes, this IS tenderness. Not only because of the beautiful photos, but also because of the composition and the use of the elements. The elements and the photos are perfectly placed and the colors of the girls face match the kit she used from TaylorMade Designs. Stunning!

And look at this beauty from Aline Designs, La Mer & ses Merveilles. Maybe you remember that I love blue. So I love the clear blue color in this layout, but the combination with the green let the layout suck my attention. The brushwork is stunning and I love the round frame and the cute elements. I immediately want to buy the kit!

My last pick is a double page. 12 Ways to Make Life Simple Again page 7 and 8 by Hollyinjapan. Just read it and think about it. The text at the second page is: The truth is, your whole life has been leading up to this moment. Think about that for a second. Every single thing you’ve gone through in life, every high, every low, and everything in between, has led you to this moment right now. This moment is priceless, and it’s the only moment guaranteed to you. This moment is your “life.” Don’t miss it. The pages are both different but are fitting well together. I love how she placed the elements and the words are so inspirational. Thank you Holly.
